Ride Safety Question

Ok....been checking out the different posts for our upcoming trip (7 weeks!!!) My DD6 (will be 7 in a week or so) is 47 inches tall. The only thing that she can't ride because of hight requirements is Rockin' Roller Coaster (I think). The thing is she is very petite. She is average/short for her age but she barely weighs 40 pounds. (She can still wear alot of 4T and 5T clothes) I am worried that she will slip through the ride restraints on some of the rides. Can anyone give me tips on what rides to be cautious of?

Relax she will be fine. I am the mother of a very thin DS who went on everything including RNC without problems. He was over 48 inches and weighed between 40 and 42 lbs. Now he is 49 and 1/2 inches and weighs a whooping 44 pounds-soaking wet!

Rides to be cautious on - None.

I'm an adult female and don't weigh that much and never have had any problems at all. I used to get a lot of air time at Twilight Zone but they replaced the bar with individual lap belts so that's not a problem anymore.

My DD is almost 6 and has been on most of the 40" and 44" requirement rides. I still won't let her go on Space Mountain ONLY because she has to sit by herself and I worry she won't know when to hold on, etc. Also, she has not been on Mission Space. She LOVES expedition everest (if you ask, its her favorite ride) and all the other ones. Other than R&RC, the 2 I mentioned above, you may want to consider skipping.

Don’t worry about the restraints on Rock ‘N Roller Coaster. They’re actually just there on the VERY off-chance that the ride stops while you’re upside-down (and then no, even being very slender, she will NOT slip out – it’s a harness that comes down over your shoulders, sorta like at Stitch). Riders are actually kept in place by centrifugal force.

It's a Mom thing. I have it and my son is 25 years old and married. I still have to bite my tongue when he does things I don't particularly "trust". You never lose it.
