Ride-Only Photopass ?

I was wondering if I dont initially purchase this, but have the date/time/# of the ride photo (pic of it),
and then I purchase this a day or two later...would they be able to find and add these photos to my photopass account? Or is it too late? Do they only keep the photos for a certain period of time?

If anyone in your party is wearing a MagicBand while riding, Disney will keep track of the ride photos and videos for you and contact you via email after your trip and offer to sell these to you.

Cool! Wow a big change from just last year, thanks! I always thought you had to purchase the photo packages prior. Awesome!
