Ride closures??

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction to find out what rides are closed and when. We are going 1-3rd December, when we went last year 'a small world' was closed and we were gutted. Hoping that it will be open this time.

Closures can be found in the calendar on the Disneyland website.

I was speaking to DLP on the phone a couple of days ago and they said that Pinocchio would be closed from December 1st and Snow White, Armageddon and Disney Animation would be closed from November 29th. Hope this helps

Hmmm....can you tell me how long these will be closed ?

We will be going from January 4, 2011 and it would be interesting to know, which rides will be closed.

I don't know how long the closures will be going on for. They used that infamous word "from" ie. Pinocchio is closed from the 1st Dec and the others are closed from the 29th Nov. They gave me these dates as these are the rides that will be closed during my stay. I'm sure if you give them a call they can tell you what will be closed during your stay and if they don't know now they should know closer to the time. Thankfully we are not too bothered by the rides that are closed during our stay.

Hmm interesting that they know this but it's not online yet. It seems too good to be true that nothing is closed during our stay in a couple of weeks so think I'll phone to check!

UPDATE I just phoned Disney, and apparently the following attractions are closed from 8th-10th November:
Pinocchio
Casey Junior
Snow White
Autopia

So it seems that they don't always put the info online! We are there 7th-12th so will hopefully get a chance to ride all of these anyway, I really hope so as the first 3 on that list were also closed for the duration of our stay last year and I've never been on any of them.
I'd advise anyone who is concerned about attraction closures to phone up and ask about your dates!

I'll be pretty upset if thats correct - our 1st day of 4 is 30th November and we plan to go on Snow White and Pinocchio rides quite a lot - kiddies favourites last time...

We are the same, our first day in the parks is the 30th.

Snow White was closed the entire time we were there in September and Pinocchio is my son's favourite disney movie, will just need to go on it loads on the Tuesday, shame about Snow White though, why is it closed so much, that was the whole of September, start of November and start of December again???

I emailed DLP this week asking about ride closures between the 6th - 10th of December and here is the reply.

- Snow white
- Pinocchio
- the train Caseys junior
- Alice labyrinthe
- Autopia
- Space mountain

If the website isn't up to date, I think I'll be emailing them too! We're going to the parks on the 19th and 20th December, I'll be gutted if there are ride closures - particularly if Space Mountain is still down (although the last time I went on that I got whiplash, so maybe it is better if it is down...)
