Ride Closure Question...

If the WDW website states that a ride will close on such date, is that a set date?

Ie they're closing JC on April 12, can we still ride on the 11? Can you ride on the 12 and it closes that night at park close?

Just curious how it works...

It is pretty set, I think. Back in Dec, it was known exactly when Haunted Mansion was closing for refurb. We rode it the day before without issue.

This isn't to say they wouldn't shut something down a day early without notice. I just don't believe it to be likely barring an issue with the ride.

While I don't know if they might close a ride early, if they say a ride is closing on the 12th, that means you won't be able to ride it on the 12th.

I always thought the closure dates were pretty set in stone but they do change! For example, BTMR was scheduled to close sometime in March & they just changed it to April. Of course this is during the time I will be there :-/ So just make sure to keep up to date on any closures. From what I've heard, Disney will email those who have a FP+ for a ride & it then decides to close.

They're usually pretty good with the dates. If the stated date of closure is the 12th, you can ride on the 11th.
