For argument sake, what rides would I NOT be able to take 3 small kids (2yo,3yo,5yo) on by myself. So far I can only come up with Dumbo and Astro Orbiter. What am I forgetting? What about Aladdin's Magic Carpets or Triceratop Spin? Would they allow the two older ones to ride in the front while I ride in the back with the 2yo?

Thanks!!

Those four rides are the same ride, just different look, so I would think the seating would be identical on all four.

I believe Dumbo only has seating for 2. Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Triceratop Spin has seating for 4. A couple years ago, I'm certain I put my DD's 3&4 on Magic Carpets with my nieces 6&8. The Carpets and Triceratop Spin are pretty identical.

allearsnet.com has some ride car pictures.

Dumbo has one bench per elephant.
Aladdin has 2 seats that will each hold at least 2 people.
Triceratop Spin has 2 seats per Dino (the same as Aladdin). The picture on allearsnet makes it look like only one seat, but you can see it's 2 seats on this page from the DIS site.
With the ages of your children, you may be able to all fit on one seat.
There is a picture of the Astro Orbiter on allearsnet, but it's hard to see how many it holds. This page from the DIS site shows each car holds 2. I don't think I would try to ride it with the ages of your children. There was a recent thread where adults were discussing how deceptively wild this ride is. With the height and the tilt of the ride a lot said it makes them sick.

The speedway also will only have room for 2.

Goofy's Barnstormer can only have 2 per seat but you could get the seats right behind them to be close.

Haunted Mansion would be very cramped with more than 2 people in it. We have tried 2 adults and one child and it was a little uncomfortable.

On the Speedway--would one adult and two small kids (both aged 4) fit in one car? I know all 3 of my kids are going to want to ride this--which means dh will probably have to stand in line 3 different times with 3 different kids since none of them are big enough to ride it alone yet....

Also--on Dumbo would it be possible to fit one adult and two small children?

I had 3 teens on it before, :rotfl: it was interesting! Breathing? who needs to breathe?

I have done both of those. The speedway seat are pretty wide and you should be fine with two young kids. Also on Dumbo, it will be a tighter squeeze, but you should be able to do it. One of the kids can sit on your lap as well.

Thanks for the responses so far everyone.

I agree about Astro Orbiter Sue. I am fine doing it with just DD in my lap, but don't feel I could hold on to more than that well enough.

I don't even know if this will be an issue, but am trying to decide about our Sept was supposed to be. Thanks again!!
