Ride breaks down, extra fastpass- (questions)

Hi,

We were on Expedition Everest when it broke down tonight right near the park closing time. They scanned our magicbands and said we are getting an extra fastpass now. I went on the My disney Experience tonight and it says we have an extra fastpass that we can use from now until the 21st (2 more days). So my questions are below.

1. Do we have to schedule this extra fastpass online? (I went on the website to try and schedule it but couldn't see how)
2. Do you just go up to any ride at any time and scan and the system knows and lets you in?
3. Are you able to use this extra fastpass during the window of time that you already have another fastpass scheduled?

1. There should be a description of it when you tap it in your MDE account - Anytime FP and probably has restrictions. Also check your associated email account.

2. Use it whenever you want on any ride that is not excluded.

3. If you are in the ‘window’ for a different FP, yes, you can use the Anytime FP.

Just a call out on #3, if you have an existing FP and arrive a little early or late, it will use your anytime FP.

THIS! We were gifted an anytime FP and the CM told us this several times. He also said if we were in our window and using the regular FP+ to tell the CM at the tap point just to be sure it didn't use the anytime FP.

Just show up at any eligible ride (exceptions should be listed on MDE, they usually include Pandora Rides, Frozen Ever After, 7DMT, Peter Pan and Test Track, but it sometimes varies) at any time and scan your MB. You can do it during another FP window.

On the MDE it just says have to use by the 21st and it says "EXPERIENCES AVAILABLE" a bunch of times on the page but nothing else after it even if you scroll all the way down. It doesn't say anything about certain rides not being included. Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping I can use it for 7DMT but I'll ask a cast member to be sure. I'll report back what happens after tomorrow. Thanks everyone!

UPDATE- We tried it today on 7 Dwarfs but it didn't work. The cast member said it does not work for 7 Dwarfs and Peter Pan. So we still have not used it yet. But now it is no longer there on my MDE, so I'm worried that we've lost it.
