Riddle me TUESDAY

A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50."

The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less.

In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?

answer to yesterday's riddle:

A sharpshooter hung up his hat and put on a blindfold. He then walked 100 yards, turned around, and shot a bullet through his hat. The blindfold was a perfectly good one, completely blocking the man's vision.
How did he manage this feat?

He hung the hat on the barrel of the shotgun

There's lots of talking about us "bracing" ourselves at the end of the week for Isabel!!! Right now, just another dreary and rainy day....

I decided Stephanie to go ahead and light my Macintosh YC yesterday....it DID actually make me feel better (I'm a sucker for a good candle scent)!

Rainy and dreary here today, but I guess it will be a bit better than the weekend. We're not expecting a direct hit, just a bunch of rain....I'm planning a nice quiet family weekend....a bunch of DVDs, some board games, maybe a big Sunday dinner......(in truth I'm now really looking forward to a rainy weekend....a nice recharge for all of us)

Had a family meeting last night, and decided the plan of action for our "DAY 1" at the world. Tonight, we'll plan Day 2......it's really sneaking up on me.....eeeeek

Nice to see everyone today!

I don't think I'd want ANYONE guessing my weight! It would be too traumatic!

So......I will be pantless. I don't know which is worse...someone guestimating that awful weight thingy or walking around pantless and everyone laughing.

Good morning all! I was so busy/tired yesterday I totally forgot to even look at the riddle again I'll have to ponder this one some more.

Fortunately for us, we have sunshine in the forecast with wonderful early fall temps for a while to come. I hope it stays that way I am also hoping that Isabel keeps losing its punch as it heads north.
