OMG! My eyes are watering just reading about the contacts & the contacts getting lost in your eyes!!! Ewwww........eye things really get to me...I could never put a contact (or anyting else for that matter) in my eye... So far no need for glasses or contacts here Lars knocks on wood but I'm assuming it's just a matter of time before my 38 years catch up to me & I'm needing glasses to read the menu at the restaurant. Many years my Dad wuld just hold it waaaaaay back away from his face before admitting he needed glasses! LOL! Full arm extnesion and he was still struggling....LOL!
Gail-I'm keeping my fingers & toes crossed for Matt!!! I'll be thinking about him tonight at 5:30 Hit a homer Matt!!!!!
Gina-I hope Matt's new 'soft' cast protects him! Good for DH figuring out way to 'insulate' him from injury

I had gotten to the point where I laid the paper on the floor while I sat on the couch....I really didn't want glasses....

Some men can be so vain!!! DH wears his glasses around his neck. I don't see many men doing that, but he was losing them all the time, so he looks like a male librarian now!

Morning Riddlers!

I have had soft contacts since 11th grade also and they are so much better than glasses. It took me forever the first night to get them out of my eyes though. I have a blue tint to my contacts, and w/ my eyes already being blue it always has people asking me if that is my real eye color. Half of the time I just say yes.

Gail - good luck to Matt tonight!

Diane - hope your neck feels better - there is nothing worse than having a hard time seeing side to side or worse - driving w/ a stiff neck.

Well Bernie, I don't really know much about hickeys...but I heard they were quite important in the olden days. It would be a shame to reach middle-age without ever having had one, BUT, good news...you can give one to yourself!! Just practice on your arm! Of course I have no mouth on experience with this, it was a rumor I heard once...

...oops...for a minute there I thought I was on the Truth or Dare thread!

Gina, try buying a few of those drug store variety readers and leave them around the house. He will start using them, and will fianally see what he is missing. We used to have a pair or two in every room!

We went out to the new place last night to check out the progress, and all the railings are up now except for a small piece. They did a lot of filling behind the kennel too. I don't think they are working the rest of the week, because they have logs going up on another project the next two days. I should be able to see it from my current house, because it is less than a mile away and on the next hill.

Morning Riddle Buddies!

I've worn glasses sice the sixth grade..... have had soft contacts since 11th grade. I seem to always have a problem with my eyes being "dry" when I wear the contacts, so I usually reserve them for special occasions...I update my glasses everyone couple of years to keep them up to date style-wise.....after hitting 40, I've resisted and resisted (haven't quite given in YET) but feel the need getting closer for progressive lenses (I think that's the phrase baby boomers use for bifocals not to feel old)!!!

Deb - continuing to keep you in my prayers....I'm glad that you're here with us!
