Good morning everyone! Riddlecon is just around the corner and I can't wait! I need to check with DH on what size t-shirt he wants... and then get my order out the door. I will try and remember to do that this evening.

I definitely won't be around on Friday. We are going to my parents for a long weekend. In fact, I only have 2 1/2 days of work this week. (oh darn!!)

Lady M and I enjoyed a great afternoon at another mini DIS meet (really, just a nice day with friends) here in Chicago over the weekend. Tink33 (Lesley), from out CA way, came to Chicago (she said much based on our many Chicago party threads, LOL, here on the DIS) with her hubby, Tim, to celebrate 16th anniversary. Her friend, Tink29, MaLisa, came here too, with her hubby, Dennis. They put together a Chicago pizza meet at Gino's. At the last minute, Jeff Fulcer called from the Milwaukee area for directions and came by with his family too. We had a wonderful time, Lady M and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with some pretty cool DIS'ers and family.

No riddle ideas today. Take care.

Good morning OK and the Corral

Looks like I got this one. Pants beat me here.

What a weekend. DD got home Friday. After a lot of unhappiness and confusion, (see RMC), I took her back for a second week yesterday. DS got home Saturday, after a great week of painting and shingling a roof. I spent the weekend washing dirty camp clothes and airing out sleeping bags. This week we have an only child and may get rid of him on Thursday befroe we get DD on Friday. I sure hope I don't forget and lose a kid somewhere.

July 11 we leave for a week at the beach. I can not wait.

Good Morning Everyone!!!
I did sleep in a bit here this morning I was up kinda late reading! Tonight I'm gonna watch my new (free from Pizza Hut) DVD of 'Mr. Mom' I love Michael Keaton & that was one of my favorite comedies of the 80s When he's tlking about hooking up something electric & the guy says to him "Are you gonna use 220?" and he says "220...221 whatever it takes" LOL I just crack up every time!!!! Great movie!!!!
I'll be up early tomorrow though!!!! DH has an early flight (7am)out to Nashville to go to Springhill TN and look at a machine in the Saturn plant. He'll be back on Wednesday.
No clue on today's riddle yet.....better go back & look again...........

I can't believe I earned FPP! I never thought I'd see those golden pants with my name on them!

I don't know why I got up so early today. I just can't seem to sleep in like I used to.

I am going to donate platelets today at noon. Let's hope my iron isn't low like it usually is. Right now, I am waiting for the flooring guy to show up "this morning" to give me an estimate on two small areas. We are trying to use up the extra carpeting and tile we have from the addition.

Marla - mythology camp sounds really interesting. Let us know how she enjoys it.

No clue on this one, but I will think a while.

A fun meet, sheesh, they told me they were calling Stephanie and Elain after I talked to them, and I only talked less than 10 minutes! They were having fun, that's for sure.

This is the big week for me. Today, I officially retire, Wedneday is our 27th wedding anniversary and Friday is the day we never go to the fireworks because DH hates to be in crowds, drive anwhere where he had to take a shullte, blah blah blah.

What a weekend, very hot, great for darkening the tan. Much moving discussion, but no news from the interesting meeting. If I were interviewing with that company, I would run away. THey have no HR dept, no employment procedures, nothing that you would think an international companny would have.

Well, I must be off to think on the riddle and go in for the last time to my office. See you all later!

hmmm.....they must have been drinking then.....lol....since they FORGOT.....sheesh.....

OK, these OKO's are way too hard! You need to give those of us with with slow-morning brains easier riddles. DH helped and I've sent a guess. The clues are making sense now, so I think I have it right. BTW, hope you get to join the girls next weekend.

Loved the pics from the meet. It's always nice to put faces with friends. Wish I could have been there. I love DIS meets.

I liked Mr. Mom, too. Haven't seen that one in years. DH didn't like it much. Maybe it's one of those things that only a mother can appreciate.

Looking forward to hearing about the job offer. These things usually work out for the best. Congrats on your last day of work. What a busy week, with your anniversary, too.

We had a busy weekend. Our DD is on her middle school's botball team. Anyone familiar with botball? Your team builds a robot from a given set of materials and programs it to score points. The table is always set up the same way, and you score points by collecting balls in your goal, etc.

Anyway the national tournament is going on right now, here in Norman. Her team went to regionals when she was in the hospital last winter, so she missed it. Yesterday her team made it through the preliminary competition. Today is the actual contest. We went to watch them compete yesterday afternoon. It was pretty fun. This is her school's first team, so I'm proud that they earned some points and are still playing. I'll let you know how it goes.

I went to an all-day scrapbooking crop on Saturday. Got a lot done in my albums. I'm so far behind. I really need to get DS's Scout album done. I want to display it when he earns his eagle and it's taking me forever.

DS and DH spent some time at Jazz in June. It's a local jazz weekend that we have in our town. All three concerts are free and it's a lot of fun. There just wasn't time to do it all!
