I had breakfast with friends, mowed the lawn, showered (behind a drab curtain I'm afraid), got dressed, filled up the tank and made it to work by 9:00.

Can I stop now?

It seems to me that if your tank top shatters when you drop it you are using too much starch in the laundry!

I'm thankful my daughters are too young to care about Harry Potter.

Good morning, (or afternoon for our off-the-Atlantic-seaboard DIS'ers). Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

I'm leaving early afternoon for a few days in Indy, DIS meets tomorrow and Sunday, and dinner tonight there with fab5101 (Katie) and her DH, Junglskipper, (Patrick). If any others in the Indy area are able to make any of the days, or tonight, cool!!!!!

This morning is brilliantly sunny and very clear air quality (nice breezes from the cold front that went through yesterday), and so pleasantly temperatured and humidity this AM.

Here is a picture from front porch a bit ago. (hope this does not get moved as a trip report, it is only a few feet out my front door ) So crisp and pretty.

Tough week here on the DIS, server problems to start the week, and many of us thinking of how to get our 'DIS fix', but pale in comparison to the RL sadness later in the week of our DIS family member, Robin's, passing, and our subsequent thoughts of little Caitlyn, her safety and future.

We all have her in our prayers and good thoughts and Robin in our memories. God speed, Robin.

We are family, no??

PM sent. DH came up with a very off-color answer that I refused to send in. LOL! And I may have gotten a daily double with it, too. I don't know, I think he might fit in very well with all of us.

We are also going to some Harry Potter festivities tonight. We won't stay until midnight. Our copy should arrive in the mail Wednesday. DD is unhappy that she has to wait, but we go to get her brother at camp early tomorrow morning.

Got my broken window replaced this morning. Glad to finally have that taken care of.

I'm being kind of lazy today. Have tons of work that needs to be done, but I'm not really in the mood. So I'm taking a day off. Well at least most of the day. I'll probably feel guilty later and do some stuff.

Congrats on those new babies. Wish I was there to take a turn. I love to hold babies.

Diane, sounds like POT is the theme for the birthday. I'd go with putting a pot of flowers in the john, giving the Harry Potter book and maybe wrap it in teapot paper?
