Bernie, I assume you noticed the roofers have NOT been back! The process of putting up the log siding on the little area above where the original wall end indoors is quite a slow process. They are having a lot of difficulty manuvering in there.

Roofers aren't paid by the day, OK. They are paid by the JOB! My guess is they are doing several jobs at once, and none of us are getting things done!

I should probably go back and start a new logging on thread and consolidate all the pictures into one post without all the relpys. I thought I would post the picture of that big character log now that the interior is coming along, so folks could see how it looks in it's real setting instead of outdoors like it was when I first posted a pic of it.

a lame attempt at the riddle has been sent from NH.....rainy, ucky day here....and I have to go to court today too......I'm being sued by a former client....who, once the work was done, bill approved and paid, then decided to redo the work with a different designer (hmmmm...a local selectman....) and now wants a refund of the layout and design costs they paid me......My whole attitude is that they contracted with me for layout and design, which I provided....it's on them if they decided to not use the issue and redo it...stressful day here!

and then of course are the two baseball games tonight, if the weather holds.....

Stephanie, you did your job, he has to pay for it. When we were deciding on which log contractor to use, we had to employ each to have their own architectural drawings done. We still paid the architectural bill to the one we didn't choose. I am quite sure the courts will see in your favor.

Ok I got some cool knews...I am one pound away from weighing what I weighed in college. I was hoping to make it this week, but it will definitely be next week OK, had to tell someone


I am clueless, but what is new??? I had poor Bernie confused yesterday...Sent him my riddle answer w/o the answer...Now I know he thinks I am crazy GOt my pants this morning...and it was chilly here yesterday.

OK, will have to think about this one as I drive to work....

Well, I hope to be getting my pool installed this year. The installer called me 2 weeks ago and said he was going to come over in a couple of days to check everything out. I have left 4 messages since then and nothing. What is it with these people!
Should I keep calling everyday?

Twins have had a good week! They took 2 of 3 from Boston and played VERY well agains the Devil Rays last night. Unfortunately, they have not played well at home this year. We have a 13 game home stand coming up starting Friday, so I hope they stay on a roll for that!
