Morning Riddlers. Welcome back Dianne, my dogs wanted dinner on hour early yesterday, and we don't even change time!

And a riddler from across the pond, how lovely.

I have a clue on the riddle, not a very big on tho.

Bernie, I will cheer for Syracues only because it's you!

We got our enitre laminate floor put down, minus the DR extension, unfortunately, DH did not factor in enough waste, so we are one box short. Hopefully, he will order it today, and he can finish it this week. Then we have to do the carpeted areas, but I would rather do the ceramic first, if we make a mess on the rug, who cares? Looks like we won't move after all, budgetary concerns on the other end, they don't know when they can finalize the offer, DH is more angry than dissapointed. He said "I am here forever, just make sure you don't bury me in AZ." I don't know how I feel, I was looking forward to being retired, but I can wait till they get rid of me. At least nothing will interfere with my vacation plans.

And why am I on page 4 when it's 9 am on the east coast?

Good Morning all! It's quite windy and cold out this morning. With the windchill, it's about 12ºF. We're supposed to get about 4" of snow which isn't bad, I guess. Glad it's not more freezing rain and ice pellets. The boys and I were out on Saturday with garden spades trying to break up the thick ice on the driveway and sidewalks. Our power didn't go out completely, but fluctuated a few times. We lucked out there!

What a gorgeous day yesterday was! The sun shone all day and was quite warm. It got some of the new snow and ice melting. Mother Nature is sure going through "something", that's for sure! It was a great day for our DIS meet in Toronto at the Rainforest Café! Have any of you ever had their Mango Tango (vodka) drink? I tried it for the first time and it's my new favourite! YUM!

Glad to hear your trip went well Diane. At least next time you'll know the short-cut!

Good luck to your team tonight, Bernie and I bet the girls put on a great performance! Did you videotape it?

Cyn, that's wonderful that your fund-raiser went so well, for such a good cause too!

Bernie, I'm sure that we drove down and checked out today's breakfast spot during one of our Myrtle Beach vacations. Very nice!

Sorry folks. Oldkicker is having a no-good, lousy day.

It started as I was leaving to take Katie to school. My car was making some very interesting noises. A belt somewhere was very, very loose and thumping around. Great.

So we walk to school.

I get back and call the repair shop. They can fit me in today. Great. I call my Mom and she agrees to meet me there and bring me home. I can work from here today.

Back home again, hard at work.

Why, it's Sharon! What's up with that!

Sharon is sick. She's got that stomach bug that Katie had.

Oh well. Off to bed she goes for a little nap.

The garage calls back. They won't have the car ready today. So I'll need to make arrangements for tomorrow. Geez - I'm not feeling so well.

Call Mom again. She'll lend me her car for tomorrow. She drives over, I drive her back to her place and stop in for a quick visit.

Man - I'm REALLY not feeling too well.

I think I'm going to thr........Yech...

Back home again, stopping in here.

Gotta run Erin to religious ed. Then I'm gonna crawl into bed for a bit and take a nap.

Gotta remember to set my alarm to not miss the game.

Hi Breezy! Yes, I have missed doing some of the riddles lately, with one thing or another.

Bernie! I'm so sorry to hear that you and Sharon are both sick. I knew something was up when I saw that you had not read my PM yet. I hope you have a good rest and are feeling better tomorrow.

Well, I don't know if we got just the 4" of snow or not, but there has been lots of drifting. I had to go out this afternoon and the roads were very icy and the snow was blowing so much it was hard to see at times. No one had any Safety Salt left and I bought another bag of water softener salt to keep in the trunk of my car to add traction. I had just taken the other one out and poured it into the softener, thinking I wouldn't need it in the car anymore!

I had to take Dan to the Dr's to get his ear syringed out this afternoon~ it was plugged with wax ~ and the minute we walked into the office his nurse poured sanitizer into our hands and asked us if we had been to either of the quarantined hospitals in Toronto. There was also a big sign on the door with instructions for anyone who had been or had SARS symptoms. There hasn't been any SARS cases in our area but I had already told Dan not to touch anything so I was glad to see this precaution.
