I am not awake yet. We discovered we took the wrong route down to St. Louis. It took us 12 hours to get there, but we found a shorter way back, and it only took us 10 hours to get home.

Duffy and Ralph showed very well, but didn't win anything. We didn't expect to, though, either. We have Ralph enetered again next weekend locally, but it is a very small entry.

We came home to find they had started putting the steel on the roof, but didn't get very far because of the weather. The special order windows didn't arrive like they were supposed to. I do think in a couple of weeks the outside of the house will have a marked improvement in the look! Can't wait to post THOSE pictures!

I agree, Laura picked the perfect weather to be in Florida. Even though I talked with a few DISers yesterday as they were finishing lunch, Laura was no where to be found. I even called her cell as she told me to and no answer... gee... wonder why?

Morning everyone! I couldn't believe the weather forecast this morning. How depressing! It looks like we will mostly have freezing rain and sleet in our area, no snow accumulation.

Bernie - I'm glad the girls could get their program in. I'll be rooting for Syracuse for you tonight!

Tonight is the Pirates home opener. Don't think we'll have much of a crowd with the weather being so lousy.

Congratulations to sbp for winning OK's NCAA pool! You had an awesome last round to jump over the rest of us!

Welcome back Diane! I guess that you'll be sort of glad that things didn't go as planned on the house. Now you'll be able to take pics of it all as it happens.

Glad to hear that the skating went well (finally!) for the girls Bernie! Are they both all recovered from feeling sick last week? I was looking at a print that we have at work and thinking about them on Saturday. It's called "freeskate" and is of a young brunette figure skating. I don't know what the figure is called, but she's holding the blade of her skate up behind her head. I don't follow basketball, but I'll be thinking about you tonight.

Cyn, glad to hear that the wine tasting was a success!

They're calling for more of that cruddy white stuff here today and tonight, but thankfully they are saying that it will start to warm up by the middle of the week and they are calling for the weekend to be really nice. I'm glad that it's not supposed to snow any this weekend since we are headed to an area that can get slammed pretty hard, and I just don't want to have to trudge through any more snow!!!!!!
