We did manage to get the ice show in yesterday. I'm very happy about that because the kids have worked so hard for so long. They were delighted to perform. Even though we didn't have our final rehearsals, the show came off without any major hitches.
We're all recovering from the ice storm around here. States of emergency have been declared in many of the counties here. Power was out for 200,000 homes. Countless trees have been destroyed and power lines were down all over the place. Snow is in the forecast for the next several days. Not exactly what we need.
I'm hoping that the power stays steady tonight as our Orangemen battle the Jayhawks for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
Gail - I'm planning on taking a little nap after dinner and then I'll be donning my lucky Syracuse sweater and hunkering down in front of the TV.
LET'S GO ORANGE!!!!
