Riddle me this!

Good morning to all the riddle groupies!

My sympathy on all the snow in the East. Like Diane, we've been lucky this year with hardly any.

Hope this is the last of it & spring is just a few weeks away!

Unlikely, John! March is on the way, and that is our snowiest month around here!:(

Minor gripe about snowplows.

The blade on the snowplow is wide enough to voer roughtly 2/4 of our street. They do our side of the street first. So when it comes by, it plops 3/4 of the snow on our side of the street! On the return trip, our friends across the street get the other 1/4. We have these amssive snow banks on our side, while their side has next to nothing.

Can you tell I've had enough of winter?? :p :p :p

Us, too, Bernie. I guess we live on the same side of the street in different towns in different states.

Will wonders never cease!

John!

Good morning everyone. Good luck to all our Eastern Riddlers in digging themselves out today!!!:D

Oooh the nasty plowman story.... yesterday the head of all plowing in our town called us.. he wanted to apologize and said he would send a plow truck down to clear our driveway in way of an apology... Tom was thanking him profusely and said there was no need as we have our own plow guy to do our driveway and I am like give me the phone.. I wanted some answers and make myself perfectly clear that what was done to us was harrassment but the best part was it was done by someone hired by the town to plow...he was harrassing us for his own personal reasons and using his ability to plow our street to do so.. I also said that if an emergency vehicle needed to get to me, they could not and that the police did not help me..and of course that is a huge issue...

What could he say.. he apologized, he was stuck in Maine where he lives...which I thought was strange but I guess you can live anywhere and work for our town.. He said he spoke to him.. of course he went to high school with him.. and that he finally admitted that he had done it.. I am sure they had a good laugh over it.. (that ticks me off) and he has been taken off this street... Big deal, he should have been fired.. Deep breath now....and hopefully it is over.

well, I'm not complaining......our plow-guy has already plowed us out....and looks like our road is clear too....from my office window, I can see Rte. 106, which is a major thruway in our town, and cars look to be travelling close to the speed limit. However, it does look like it's raining now though...uck...

I'm definately ready for the "out like a lamb" part of March....course here it snows well into April.

Morning

I thought of yesterday's answer at about 2am, but I was not going ot get out of my warm bed to send a PM

We will finally get out for recess today!!! The temps have warmed up to a nice -7C Yipee!!!:bounce:

Sending a PM for today's guess.

You can't come in the jacuzzi unless you will splash, dunk AND play Marco Polo!!! :)

Diane - I think you'd better sign up with a plowing service!!

'Morning, Amid! :) Shoveling that stuff at the end of the drive is quite a workout, isn't it?? Be careful! :)

Hey! Another coincidence, Gina! :) Sounds like DH has had ENOUGH!!

John - we've got a long way to go yet. I think Syracuse has had snow in every month except August, over the time they've been keeping track. Ya' just never know! :(

hey, I forgot to update you all on the DH situation. It looks for right now that his job is NOT going to be one of the 98 they cut. We are still somewhat concerned about the "Bumping" as he is the low man at his rank on first shift (with 9+years) but the commissioner, asst. warden, and the major have all said that they will fight to keep him in his position...so I guess that is good news.
Still, I'll feel better when we have that nice healthy tax return socked away !!

Marsha! What happened? Did he plow you in? That's awful!!

Our plow guys are actually pretty nice fellows. If they see I'm getting ready to go, they'll pause and give me a chance to get out of the driveway before they plow on through. They certainly do a wonderful job getting the roads passable up here!

Mickey - I would have gotten you some yesterpants! :)

'Morning, Kitty! :)

I think it's cheaper to move than hire a plow service!

Ah.....to dream.......;)

Nice weather you're having, Mickey. Minus anything is horrific.

Soda minus scotch

milk minus cookies

pizza minus beer

Just thought I'd bring that to your attention.....;)

Steph - thanks for the update. It sounds like things are going to work out okay for him. Good to hear. I can understand where you'd want to see the whole thing done and over with!

Good morning Oldkicker and riddle snowbunnies! :)

I hope everyone is safe and warm, and doing a lot of stretching exercises before shovelling!

Love the jungle pool at the B & B, Bernie! :)

I think we find a lot of today's riddle answer in the garden come spring! ;)

PM coming...
