No big plans for this weekend here...but today at roller-skating, we are celebrating THREE birthdays!!! I actually have four very close friends whose birthdays are in Feb...what was 9 months before Feb????!!!

Donna, my grandmother's birthday is a week after mine and my brother's is two weeks after hers... February is big here too. And 9 months prior to February is May... must be the spring thing

Thanks for your thoughts on co-ed sleep-overs. Thaere are a lot of variables in the decison. I think it is reasonablr on New Years Eve when you don't want kids out on the roads. DD went to a sleep-over this pasr New Years Eve, but the boys all went home at 1. A mom drove them.

Prom - maybe. It is a big event. But this is just a dance. I don't think it is necessary.

Also, depends on how well you know the parents involved. DD is still only 16. I just don't think we need to start this.

Call me a prude. OK, see you all at the pantless pool party in August. LOL

If I knew and really trusted the parents involved, I might not have an issue with the sleepover. There are very few people, out of the total number of parents of kids my kids know, who I would trust to that level.

Maybe I'm a prude too!

Carol & Bernie, I don't think you guys are prudes! I think at 16, I wouldn't have been able to spend the night either. I think on New Years the only reason why the guys stayed was because the parents didn't want to drive and we didn't want them to have to wake up and drive us home too. In my mind prom is special, but other dances aren't special enough to warrant that.

Bernie, the question was so good that I am still contemplating too

I had problems again today accessing the riddle and the tech center said I might be having a COOKIE problem....the only problem I have with cookies is EATING too many....especially if they are Girl Scout Samoas or Thin Mints!!!!

That being here nor there, I'm going to be doing my last minute packing this weekend for my trip to WDW Wednesday!!! I'm working Monday and Tuesdy and leaving at about 5:00 Wednesday AM - don't want to waste ANY time getting to those layered Margarita's!!!!

Gail....as previously mentioned....don't worry about the snow here....especially in the city, it rarely lingers very long and I'm certain it won't infringe upon the fun you'll have during your stay!! Enjoy Phantom.....it's one of my favorites!
