WOO-HOO!!! Did I just get the 1st pants of the day? I don't think that's ever happened before!

I think that the 26th might be tough for some of the people who would like to go to the Yaya meet. I wasn't sure of the Yaya date when I voted but I would like to be able to do both & I know Elaine said she would like to make both.

I put together the Lego sets I got from Marsha (mickeyfan1) yesterday. WHAT A HOOT! I've discovered that you need lightening-sharp reflexes to play, especially against my DD's! They trounced me each and every time, on both offense AND defense! LOL!

Good morning OK and Corral! Chilly here again this morning, but it promises to be worse tomorrow! They are saying -15 actual temp tomorrow with windchills in the -45 range.

I love the house rules for the Maui Plantation! Especially #1---Blame the kids!

I have some ideas for the riddle answer form way back in college in my music major days...hmmm...close?

Riddlecon will most likely not be a possibility for us. We will be heading out that way mid August to get Norah to school in Indiana...I dont think 2 trips out there will be possible.

Another cold one here today too. Yesaterday they sent the kids outside at lunch hour for a shortened recess (20 minutes) I had duty for 10 min and I was pretty chilly! Hopefully today they will keep them in. some of the kids are just not dressed to be out in windchills like that!

Can't wait to see the bathroom pics!

Another Diser is plotting to get me to riddle con.....hopefully it will work out!

I need some good luck wishes today. I go for my 3 month bolld work this morning for my cholesterol check. If my cholesterol is still high then I will have to go on meds. I have been working really hard to get it down though.

Hey CRB - I haven't seen you to mention it - but that was a tough loss the Tampa Bay laid on the Eagles. Seems that Donovan and the guys just couldn't get anything going! Well - there always next year - and the Eagles did have quite a year this year!

Diane - it has been pretty cold here too! We've been very lucky with snowfall too. Areas to the north and to the south of us have gotten the snow. It seems to be jumping right over us, for the most part! But it is COLD!!!

Luckily the school I worked at yesterday (I sub as a para pro at the elementary schools here) opted for indoor recess. I say luckily because it would have been me out there freezing with them!
This morning I am working at the kindergarten building (our school system has one building for all the kindergarteners) and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for indoor recess again!
