Good morning. I start classes today for Spring semester....I only have one on Mondays though and it's from 2:30-3:45.

My Dad had a pretty rough weekend. They messed up his pain meds after the surgery and he was in some severe pain on Friday. We finally got it straightened out late Friday night and he was able to get some sleep. Maybe it's just me, but hospitals these days seem much scarier places. It seems you have to have someone there to advocate for the patient and ensure they are getting the attention they need. We are hoping to get him home today or tomorrow. That is going to be quite a logistical nightmare! His leg is in a brace to keep it immobilized. We're going to try to arrange an ambulance to get him home. I don't think I can get him in and out of the van, or a car!

I hope that you get all the logistics worked out and it's good that you got the medication straightened out....I agree that hospitals can definitely be pretty scary.

Speaking of the movie, "Signs", one day I was driving to get my kids from school and as I drove past my church about two blocks from my house, there was all sorts of activity there. A minister and his family were sitting on the steps of the old part and people were filming him, taking pictures. All I kept thinking was, "That's not my minister."

I found out a week or two later, IT WAS MEL!!!!! Seems the asked our church, who did a very good job at keeping it a secret! I live one town down from where most of the film was made.

I just wanted to die that I missed who it was.

Good morning,
I'm still waking up although we've been out of bed for almost 2 hours. DS is a morning person...he gets up between 6-6:30 every day, even weekends. I'm not sure even adolescence will change that with him. Just woke DD...she loves to sleep so she's not happy yet.
It's cold here....supposed to get colder as the week progresses....and I'm clueless once again on the riddle. I've even tried visually, using bubble gum and mini candy bars! Lew's gonna have to think about it.
Sorry to hear your dad's had a rough time with pain Bernie, when is he expected to go home?

We were out yesterday going door to door selling Girl Scout cookies - Kara didn't do too bad - 45 boxes so far and the sale just started Saturday

Hectic week ahead for me. Late night flight tomorrow to San Francisco for two days on a business trip... so I am here today and tomorrow for the riddle... but gone Wednesday and Thursday.

Bernie - hope your dad get's home safe and sound... he will rest easier in the care of family and friends... especially with that hospital! LOL!
