A couple of years ago we started making gingerbread houses on Christmas and spent the afternoon decorating them. It was supposed to be a fun project for the whole family. In reality, DS and I were the only ones who participated and thought it was fun. We aren't doing it any more!

No enlightenment here yet either ..... both my sisters are coming in from out of town with their families sometime this weekend .... I'll be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas at my parent's house .... it will nice to have everyone together .. doesn't happen too often anymore ......

Good morning to all the riddle groupies (wide awake or not!)

I had an interesting day yesterday (hence my absence from the boards)!

I had just sent off my hat tricks answers when ALL the power goes off at work Boy was it DARK

A beer truck had taken out a transformer near by & our buildings were the only ones effected!

They made us wait till the power came on (like three hours later) Unfortunately it came on before the 'official' going home time was reached. Darn Consumer Power when they're efficient

And to top it off they wouldn't let us go help remove 'debris' from the wreck site

So we had to make up for lost time by putting our noses to the grind stone! I also got my revue during this lull & fortunately was not chastised (or caught) for DISing too much at work

OK helped me have some fun last night with #1. She is all done exams so I posted she can now have tome to do the riddle without bugging me for the answers. OK played along with me.
