Happy Monday!

I'm
trying to be positive -- it's been raining all weekend, and supposed to be wet until tomorrow night. Sigh. PM sent...
Sandi, Happy Belated Birthday!
Mickey, I'm sorry the date didn't work out.
Our older DS's girlfriend wants to give out candy at our house on Halloween. They apparently don't have any trick-or-treaters in her neighborhood. Last weekend she was working on her costume -- she's planning for the two of them to dress as Georgia Bulldog fans (not a stretch -- they're both first year's at UGA).
Younger DS is planning on being a high school freshman with too much Algebra homework after football practice.
I've seen Yu-Gi-Oh when the kids watch it on Saturday mornings. They don't play the card game, though; they're into Mage Knights.
Pogs were originally round cardboard seals for milk bottles back in the 1880's. They could be collected and used in a flipping game, sort of like Tiddlywinks. They were a big fad in the 1990's, starting in Hawaii. The most popular pieces were from a fruit juice blend called POG (named for the ingredients Passion fruit, Orange, Guava). Here's a link that describes them:

Bernie, you could try Granny's cure for the common cold (from the Beverly Hillbillies). You take it, and in a week to 10 days, the cold is gone!
Happy Anniversary Breezy!
