A man wanted to enter an exclusive club but did not know the password that was required. He waited by the door and listened.

A club member knocked on the door and the doorman said, "twelve." The member replied, "six " and was let in.

A second member came to the door and the doorman said, "six." The member replied, "three" and was let in.

The man thought he had heard enough and walked up to the door. The doorman said ,"ten" and the man replied, "five." But he was not let in.

What should have he said?

Yesterday's:

A farmer in California own a beautiful pear tree. He supplies the fruit to a nearby grocery store. The store owner has called the farmer to see how much fruit is available for him to purchase. The farmer knows that the main trunk has 24 branches. Each branch has exactly 12 boughs and each bough has exactly 6 twigs. Since each twig bears one piece of fruit, how many plums will the farmer be able to deliver?

None. A pear tree does not bear plums

I think Bernie was taking an early shower.

I am really beginning to wish we had planned on DIS CON. Our DS and his SO were supposed to go with us in January, but now with school, he can't go. Then our friends (DS God parents) were going the same time, and now he has cancer, and isn't expected to live more than a month. I think maybe we should scrap this whole trip and start planning over again!

The trouble is that there is no more availability at DVC in December. That has been gone for some time now. It is a very popular time at DVC because of the low points.
