spb - even after the loss yesterday, I wouldn't want to draw UConn in either tourney. They are a very dangerous team!!

LOL, Alan! I admit to not knowing a TING about NASCAR! My Uncle and his son are both very much into it. My uncle raced and my cousin still does race on dirt tracks around here. Neither accept phone calls during the Daytona weekend!

I guess if spring is making an appearance, it will eventually get here too! I'm ready now!

Gail - Erin had it too. Took just over a day to get better. I hope Katie has the same result!

And the problem with that is what OK???
We don't answer the phone during the race...unless of course one of our favorite drivers wins, or one of our less favorite drivers crashes!!! because there is usually another race fan on the other end of the phone.

I'm actually thinking that DH and I (or it just may be girls weekend at the races) may head down to Daytona for the 4th of July race, and to see the Earnhardt tribute concert the weekend before (actually the concert is what we're going for...and may as well stay a whole week...do a little WDW and wrap it all up with the race the following weekednd)...I'm really hoping these plans pan out!!!!

One of my most famous lines about the "cult" following Jr. has received is "I like him first....back when you couldn't buy a t-shirt with his name on it......."

ahh yes......racing season....can summer be far behind?????

spb.....the Six Feet Under season begins with Nate's post surgery and alot of wild flashbacks of the surgery.

I know nothing about racing. Sorry, guys. Wish I did but it's not something that's a must do in this household.

Actuall, I like baseball enough to say any great player is fun to watch, no matter what team he is on! I don't like the arrogant grandstanders though. I alos have a problem with old George being able to "buy" his way in by overpaying a lot of great players. And what's with him complaining about Jeter!!!???
