Well - an eventful half-hour here (I'm still not in the shower yet!)

Katie is sick in bed now. She was complaining of a headache. Checked her and she's running a fever of 101. Back to bed she goes. Seems the same thing Erin had last week,

Trucked Erin off to school, after the one-hour delay. it is just too darn cold here today to be standing around, waiting on a bus.

Looks like I'm working from home today as Sharon has to get in to work in just a bit.

Off to catch up on PM's.

I've been noticing that the boradcast networks have been advertising, quite proudly, that they will be presented 6 new episodes in a row of such-and-such series. Cheesh - BIG DEAL!! There was a day when they presented 26 new episodes in a row!!!!

Just came in from doing dogs, and they love this light snow! Unfortunately, I went downstairs to find two of my dogs must have the same bug as your Katie, OK! I had a bit of a mess to clean up. I thought I had allergy shots this morning, but it isn't on my calendar. Not sure if I made the appointments wrong or wrote them on my schedule wrong! I HATE when that happens! I LIVE by my date book!

I can actually hear birds outside singing. Maybe spring really will come.

Dad just called to say all the birds were out singing their spring songs in the falling snow! I noticed that this morning too. Sure doesn't look or feel like spring, but so glad it sounds like it anyway!

Gina ...... the new Six Feet Under season .. is this picking up after Nate's surgery .... or am I totally out of the loop and did I miss a whole season ...... I love that show ... but unfortunately it was the ex-boyfriend who had HBO and my cable bill is expensive enough at it is I did notice the first season in the video store so maybe I could catch it down the road that way .....
OK ... you can go rent some tapes to try and catch up on the early storylines

Diane, I hate math myself. I usually can muddle my way through them though and like today, I called my dad after I sent my PM to make sure I got it right today Why are you feeling invisible Sorry that you are though... it's not a feeling I like at all.

Steph, hope the power stops being "persnickity" for you. That weather sounds nasty too! I hope Andrew is okay today, I know as a kid I always did things like that and then was fine the next day. Usually something that my stomach didn't like (sensative stomach even to this day)

Ouch Laura!!! That sounds painful!!! That was the one reason why I gave up on hamsters myself, the last one I had was nasty and was always biting me. It's bad when you can't even shake the little buggers off.

Bernie, I hope Katie feels better soon! The meet went great! I met a bunch of people I hadn't met before and chatted with a few old friends. I love meets and I was glad that the weather didn't get in my way. Oh for anyone who wants to see, here are some pics I took Saturday Ohio Meet pictures

All righty then...Let's turn this around to BASEBALL!!! The Twins have only lost 1 preseason game so far! Of course, I think they mostly play the Red Sox. We lost Eric Milton to his bad knee again, but there are some good young pitchers who "pitched in" last year who should be able to take up the slack for a month.

AHHH that felt good!!! Talking baseball always makes me feel like spring is on the way!!

Good mornin' y'all!

For all of you folks snowed in, there have been robbins bopping about everywhere for several weeks now, and I noticed the pear trees and Japanese Tulip trees are blooming as well.

Which, of course, means that another good freeze will come along and get them soon.

I'm laughing at the shower curtain war. I was starting to think our beloved Bernie had taken one too many basketballs or hockey pucks to the head. Fortunately, someone else saved the day by posting a "Little E" curtain.

Don't sterotype...I'm not that big of a NASCAR fan, but Lord knows my father and older brother are, so I have watched it all my life and not just during this sudden popularity.
