Someone here asked if I could take a picture of the whole house yesterday. I couldn't find a way to take a picture of everything from the front since there are two cranes and 3 construction trailers there, but here is a picture of about half of the back. As you can see, some of the walls aren't up yet to the right side between the main part and the garage/kennel.

I hope you find a space to catch your breath, Diane. Speaking of caramels - one of my coworkers returned from a vacation in Ireland this week and she brought back some Jameson's caramels! Have you ever had whiskey-flavored caramels? YUM!!!

How much snow do you folks in the east have? El Nino brings wet to you and dry/warm to us, so we seem to be having a brown Christmas! I hear there is a possiblility of snow next week and more normal temps, but we have had beautiful weather for building this late in the year!

Your whiskey flavored caramels reminds me of the gift one of the construction workers brought us the other day. He makes his own wine, and he brought us some incredibly delicious ruhbarb wine! It is a sweet wine and much like a white wine.

We have very little snow on the ground, Diane, though we did get about 9 inches on the ground while I was away. Torrential rain just about killed it all off though.

We have a busy but fun weekend ahead of us.
Tomorrow is my beautiful niece's 3rd birthday. She came to us exactly 2 years ago from China and we're all looking forward to celebrating her big day
After the party DS has a hockey game & DD has to babysit. Then on Sunday DS has more hockey & DD has an all day cheer clinic. Guess I'll just have to entertain the youngest one while has siblings are keeping busy

It is FOGGY here this morning! Dense fog! I feel right at home.
