Poor Mr. Rogers! He certainly touched the hearts of many generations. I was too old to really watch him (no wisecracks, John....one a morning is enough....and I'll get to that next....). For some reason, DS didn't care for him....we were a Shining Time Station household for a couple of years!

NOW JOHN!!! Luca got a bad rap. You know that! He got a little too cozy with the fishes. Would you like to join him????

With all of the flash, brash and trash that is presented to our kids today, even the little ones, it was always a treat to sit down and enjoy someone who simply spoke to the kids with kindness and respect.

Morning all!!! It's a nice "cool" day here. We are below freezing but above 0 by quite a bit. The only bad news is my Weather Bug was flashing again... we are in for more snow today/tomorrow I am so sick of this stuff and I fear we will have a short spring this year... like we had almost no fall last year

Morning Riddle buddies!

I can't believe that Mr. Rogers is gone... I watched him daily when I was younger, and the BEST part of the entire experience for me was when he re-affirmed, daily that "you make EACH day a special day...and you know how...by JUST YOUR BEING YOU! There's only ONE person in the world quite like you, and that's YOU, YOURSELF!"

A simple message, but one that really found it's way into the needed place of many a young person's heart I'm sure!
