psssst....Marsha....If I happen to get up early tomorrow maybe I'll post a 'Special Edition Saturday Riddle' for ya:D [/B]

This is really funny, I had no idea we were amongst the felonious.

What time is early Laura? I hope you mean that you will be sleeping late so when I get up at 6 to make coffee, you will still be snoozing.

I have the right to remain silent before I say something that may incriminate Alan........NOT!

Alan, are you the Penguin or the Joker??? Well, we all KNOW you are a Joker...... the question is....do you waddle when you walk????? :p

I do look lovely in black, don't I???? :teeth:

A Saturday Riddle?? Wow, you are ambitious there Lars ;)

Oh boy... that costume reminds me of what I was for Halloween my junior year of high school... I was accused of being catty for some reason

Gina, no, not a bad thing really... I just dont' like my co-workers to know TOO much about me :p

Goodness, I have about 1.5 hours to go and I am BORED!!!

Nope. I had the lithotripsy (sp?) done this week! :teeth:

okay, NEW riddle...what the *heck* is a lithotripsy??? Sounds scary!:D

We had a pot-luck at work today, too...company made hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, but there was so much other food brought in that a lot of people, including me, didn't even bother with the grilled stuff!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend! :)

I'm having the best time catching up here today!!!!!

Although I'm not sure about 'cheeky' brits!
Melissa - if the term cheeky were applied to John (Yepod) it would have an entirely different meaning!!!

I may not have spelled it correctly, but it is the process of breaking a large kidney stone into several smaller ones.

After passing two stones last winter (OUCH!!!) and discovering that this one was too large to go, I was ready to have it broken up.

I'm just happy not to be waiting on the shoe to drop any longer!!!

Alan, at least tell them that you sit in a large tub of water and the stones are broken up by sound waves. It could have been even worse, there is a little implement that can be threaded up through the tubing into the kidney, then the stone gets snagged and yanked! OW OW OW OW OW. Kidney stones are more painful than labor, I know from experience of both. If you want your worst enemy to be in pain, this is what to wish on them.

John, cheeky???? Toooooo funny!

Actually, I had John in mind when I made the "Cheeky Brit" comment, expecting him to come in on it. :p

I did not do the tub of water. Because mine was behind a bone, I had to lay on my stomach which makes breathing difficult if sedated.

Instead, they put me under completely and insterted a breating tube in my throat.

When I awoke, the procedure was over. I was bruised in a spot or two and sore, but it was much better than feeling that stone move.

As for the basket procedure....*shudder* I did not want to go there!!!!

But yes, it is sound waves and X-Rays, not someone hitting you with a mallet :)

OUCH! I was right, it *is* scary! Hope none of you ever have to experience it again...I work with someone who had to pass a kidney stone, and he said it was really beyond awful...:(

WooHoo!
I got pants! I knew it was slightly warmer for some reason. No more drafts

BTW Alan, I don't know you but, just wanted to say
God Bless You and I'm gald it's over. That doesn't sound like too much fun. Hope your weekend is much better now.

If there's a Saturday riddle I'll try to catch it but we have plans to go to WDW Saturday. Was going to MGM but we were dissappointed about the SW Weekend last Saturday so we'll probably make it an AK day.

Anyways hope everyone has a great weekend and remember to Thank a veteran.

It's not fair. Now that I work all day, I miss a lot of the fun. I think I need a laptop with a satellite connection so I can stay connected all day.

There is a riddler in our midst who is going to WDW this weekend, and from the looks of it, she lives there. I believe thisw calls for an invite to the various Riddler meets in August. She lives there, she can take the heat!

Patti, I am very jealous of you. My dream retirement job is to be a CM of any kind. Barring that, if I could figure a way to live in that area, I would be there, a lot. Lucky you.

I know how you could live here.
You could buy my house, it's up for sale!. How 'bout it. I'd be willing to give you a special dis'er discount. I know you're thinking about it :)

I'd love to be a CM but my children require waaaayyyyy too much attention. Maybe when they are gone I will do that.

I'll keep all you in mind and maybe I'll think of a riddle or two while I'm there.

I had to edit.
;)
Tell me more about the meet in August. I'll probably need a great escape about that time.
