Morning All!

LONG pants? It ALMOST feel s like I'll need THERMAL's today!!! It's back to the 40's here and not feeling at ALL like Memorial Day weekend!

I'm actually "off" (from WORK....some "offness" can't be helped) and doing my "tattoo duty" with my niece....I may actually have them "touch up" the color on the little "do bee" I have on my ankle... I'll let you know how we make out!

I'm not sure about today's riddle, but thought I'd say hi and maybe I'll PM a couple things that jumped into my head - just for the heck of it!

Morning gang. Thanks for filling in today, Elaine! and thanks for your generosity yesterday, Stephanie!

I have many things to get done today before we go away for the weekend. Don't feel like lugging my laptop up to the woods. If it's really yucky up there, hopefully I can talk DH into coming back one day earlier. We usually spend our days there riding the trails with the 4 wheelers and the dirt bikes, so if we can't do that, we'll be cooped up in the cottage with all of the in-laws. There's only so many rounds of Rack-o and Phase 10 we can play without getting on each other's nerves...

Valerie - any updates on your mom?

Good morning everyone

After a little morning disagreement about who was getting a car today, I am sitting home alone to DIS before I have to leave for work. Yay!! Things aren't all bad.

The weather here stinks!! It is May 23, Memorial Day weekend, and THE HEAT IS ON!. What is with this weather?

Good morning all! Yay!!! My pants beat me here, but where's my daily double??? LOL!! Edited to add, never mind, it beat my post here too!

It's cool here this morning, but at least it isn't raining.....yet! They're calling for it to start later today and keep raining right through to next Tuesday. Yech!!!!!!

for a while. Good morning to all. I went to see a sneak preview of Finding Nemo last night. It was very good, the kids loved it, they were laughing at a lot of it. It is a little intense in parts, but only momentatarily. We didn't stay for the credits,so I don't know who did all the voices, and although it was good, I liked the animation in Monsters better. Take the family if you can get in this weekend, though. And the Pixar short is excellent for 1989 work. PAy close attention, Elaine.

Elaine, please check your vitamin intake, you have been sleepy a lot this week. And you need to keep your strength up for the big trip. Tell Miss Beth I said hello, too. Thanks for being the riddle Mistress.

Sorry I never got to the riddle yesterday. I sent a pm with a first guess on todays riddle. Thanks to both of our riddle ladies for filling in for OK.

It is supposed to rain off and on today, but spirits are high. It's the last day of school. That means no more studying for finals. I'm a happy camper! Of course, it also means my two kids will be at each other's throats by tomorrow.

DS found out last night that he may have to be at swim practice 5 days a week this summer at 6:30 in the morning! YIKES! What happened to my summer of sleeping in? I'm hoping that he won't have to take that time slot. Keep your fingers crossed for me, okay?

Any of you traveling this weekend, please be careful. I hear that there will be a record number of cars on the roads. We are staying home, unless we find a good used car for DS and go to pick it up. His 16th birthday is in a month and if he has to go at 6:30 in the morning, I want him to have a car available.

I'll check back later and see if I got my pants. I'm on my way to drive and drop. This afternoon is the end of my school runs for the year. Yay!
