Laura, good luck to your OM team. We had them here until there was some legal trouble with who was writing the questions. Now, if I understand correctly, there is no OM in Maryland but there is DI - Destination Imagination.

I am wimping out now. I just got a phone call from a friend who is also the friend of the mother of one of the boys in the fight. My friend said the mom called her about what my DD had said in the newspaper article. This other mother called me earlier but I didn't return her call because I didn't see the answering machine blinking. *really I don't feel like calling her back and defending DD. I will defend DD but don't feel like doing that to her now. I think I will ignore the call. My friend just called to give me a "heads up" for when this mom calls back tomorrow.

Hi gang! I was gone most of today. Went to a focus group meeting downtown at noon that was about thermometers. It was pretty interesting. They wanted to find out our opinions on some new features for ear and oral thermometers, such as adding a glow-in-the-dark digital read-out and turning the thermometer into characters for kids. I love it when they give me $65 cash for sitting around and talking for 2 hours! Of course, then I met my SIL for some shopping and probably spent it all on the clearance racks! I got some fabulous buys on clothes for the kids.

Evening all! Okay too many pages to catch up on!!!

I'm kind of happy. I got a bonus today at work. I got it instead of a raise. I am not too unhappy though because if I got a raise this year, I probably wouldn't be able to get one next year since I am far enough above the average in my group that I would be at the top of my bracket and then become not eligable for a raise for that reason alone. So I'll take my "raise" in a lump sum

Anyone have a funfilled weekend lined up yet? I will be joining LucyStorm (Bonnie) for a bit of shopping tomorrow

John-I'm not sure where in GR it will be held.....I'll know tomorrow if our girl's make it but I'm not holding my breath....there will be some tough competition.
I DID post on Dan's thread....look again!! I posted there near the top of the first page 2 days ago!!! Unless there is a new thread I haven't seen yet.....
