Huh???? What determines if it's locked for so many posts? I know the YaYa's are always moving.

Once a thread gets those 150 pages of replies, they lock it. I am not sure who picked 150 pages, but that is it. Right now we are on 67 here. The Ya Yas get locked a lot because we are a chatty group and it only takes us a few weeks to get 150 pages (I think that is 2250 total replies.

Elaine, I guess that is why I'll never get to be a Yaya. I tried to keep up for a couple of days, but the posts kept building at an amazing rate!

Laura, it does get very tough to keep up with all that. I think it is just something I get used to. I have even made mention of how hard it gets but they are understanding if you can't really keep up.

I gave up on the Grammy's years ago when I stopped recognizing the names. There are a few moldy oldies tonight howerver. Willy posted a funny comment about Dustin Hoffman.

Okay, I have to admit it is sad I didn't even know that the Grammys were on tonight. Luis started to watch the X-men so that is still on.

Why is it that when I have a free night like this to watch a movie, we don't have any new ones on hand?

New topic - have any of you ever taken a Disney cruise? That is my next dream vacation I think. I would love to take a 3 or 4 day cruise and we still have one day left on our hopper passes as well as two "plus" admissions to the water parks. That would make a nice vacation! We did a cruise on our honeymoon, and then went to WDW for a few days. We were so exhausted from the wedding that we slept through most of the cruise. Meanwhile, the ship staff probably thought "Wow, those honeymooners are never leaving their cabin!!" We even set our alarm one night to get up and go to the midnight buffet, but we just shut off the alarm and went back to bed.

Truthfully I have never been on a cruise so the DCL doesn't appeal to me. Not that it looks bad, but that a lack of desire to go on a cruise to begin with I think. But I will say if I ever did go on a cruise, DCL would be the first I try

I'm trying to talk one of my sisters into a cruise with our families one day. However, she gets motion sickness very easily, so I don't think she would go.

Good news on the extra paint - my sister is going to take it! She said it is very similar to what she was looking for anyway. She came over today with her DS and DD and brought our mother along. My mom is wonderful! She made the valance and 4 pillows for our new family room. I haven't sewed since high school. As a surprise, she used the extra material and made a beautiful wreath to put above our fireplace. That was so nice of her to do that. Things are really starting to come together for the room!

We've also never been on a cruise but would like to some day. DH has a different vision of one however and it doesn't include our kids or Mickey Mouse! I think I'd love DCL but a cruise of any kind is out of the budget for the forseeable future.

When we were first out of college I had friends who went on several Carnival cruises...this was back when Kathie Lee was promoting them!!! Does anyone remember the little song she used to sing!
