Hello,

Has anybody got first hand experience of this?

My DF is car mad and would love to do a track day but they are soooo expensive!

I am looking at getting him this as a gift when we go on holiday next year, we are going to my first choice place again so it cant hurt to give him a nice day. Plus I figured I could go to the GF spa while he is busy!

He would HATE the drive along one so prices would start at $403 to $1330 is it worth it?

It would be cheaper to go to an open trackday at home I know many guys that take thier civics and Subarus out to Shannonville open trackdays for cars for about 150 bucks. Have you looked into Silverstone or Donnington Park I am sure they have open track days and possibly even a track school then it would be closer to home for you also.

I am thinking about just getting my husband the one where you ride with a driver. I cannot afford anything else but thought that this would still give him a thrill. If anyone has done it let me know as well what you think.

I purchased two packages for my brother and husband. They drove I think 8 laps. My husband and brother were so excited. They were acting like it was no big deal. Then they reaved the engines. My husband said his heart was just pounding. My husband won the timed laps. They talked about it for days. In the end the instructors said woman are the best racers because they listen and take better directions.

The Richard Petty Driving Experience it the most AWESOME experience anyone will ever experience!

I did it last year for as a Christmas present for myself! One of the Best Gifts I ever got!

I was lucky enough to get a deal but after doing the Experience would have gladly paid full price! If you love NASCAR! 'Nough Said! The Adreneline Rush was unbelievable!

It is a half day event so plan accordingly. Make sure you have someone taking pictures!

Definately worth the price of admission!
