Richard Petty Driving Experience...payment?

I'm hoping someone has the answer for me.... but is it possible to pay for this using the Disney Visa reward card? I'm wanting to give this to DH for Christmas to do on our upcoming trip and want to use my rewards to pay. And is it correct that for the ride along that you can just show up or do you need to schedule a time? I know they don't do it on Tues. and Thurs. and only between 8-1 on the other days. Just want to have all my facts straight before the holidays get here, so I can let DH decide what he wants to do. thanks!

I'm also debating giving this to DH for Xmas for our upcoming trip, but would like to know more details. The wdw website has one sentence about it and I can't find other info anywhere. What choices are there for the "experience"?
