Does anyone know if there is a Disney photographer at the Richard Petty Driving Experience to take pictures?

I was toying with the idea to get the Memory Maker but since it is all adults, there won't be much character interactions so I don't know if it would worth it but if they have a photographer at Richard Petty then that might tip the scale.

anyone?

I really don't know who to call - if I call the disney recreation line I am sure I won't get the correct answer. Who would you call?

I would be very surprised if the wasn't a photographer at the Richard Petty Driving Experience. It's a common upsell for racing schools / driving experiences held at virtually every Nascar track across the country. If they are part of the Disney Memory Maker package or not, I'm not sure.

The driving experiences held at the WDW Speedway are run by 3rd party vendors. Try calling the Richard Petty Driving Experience directly at 1.800.237.3889 (1-800-Be-Petty).

Just got back from a fast trip to book bounceback for May. I stopped by the Richard Petty race track to ask them about whether or not they have Disney Photopass people on site. They do not - they have their own photographers and for $99.00 they told me that you can get a video that is taken from inside the race car. Basically that is all I found out - I didn't ask about the cost of the pictures if their photographers take them (kicking myself for that one now). But for anyone wanting to know if you can use Memory Maker for Richard Petty the answer is no. Oh, by the way, the photopass people on the phone told me that they did have a photographer over there. So I guess I got bad info on that one.

As Mmouse50 said, they do sell photos and ride along videos (which are awesome by the way) but these are their own people and nothing to do with Disney or Memory Maker.

Personally I think it's worth getting the video but it's fairly expensive.

My son went on the ride along Monday.

Rider videos are $49. Driver videos are $99.

You can buy photos starting at $20-$30 and up to $100+. Photos & plack combos.

No Disney Photopass photogs and no Disney anything. The Richard Petty Experience is a seperate entity with various other locations. I imagine they have some contract with Disney for the location.

I don't think Disney has any transportation to from this site. I did hear a fellow there ask if they could call for the shuttle. It appeared this was a service the Petty experience provided but not sure?

My son enjoyed it! Ride along 3 laps I think was $99. I purchased thru DVC and got a discount which made about $80.

Although Disney did schedule this thru DVC it does not show up in the MDE and is not connected at all. I asked because our time to ride was delayed about 3 hours. Rain the night before and the track was wet. Appeared dry, but they told us some wet spots in shaded areas. I thought it would be nice if they were in the MDE system they could send alerts. I did call that morning and was told they would start a noon but it was almost 2pm before they started.
