Rhinos and the Florida Keys ???

We were just in the Keys and saw tons of rhinoceros stuff. I've been searching and can't find out why rhinos are so big down there. Anyone know why?

I am just guessing here, but I think it has to be a connection with Hemmingway. He hunted - and wrote about hunting - Rhinos.

Ok I have gone to the Florida Keys every year for like forever and have never seen anything rhinoceros - maybe I am just not going to the right part of the Florida Keys. Sorry I couldn't help you.

Me either. I must have missed it.

On our way from Key Largo to Key West I spotted a big rhino on top of a building, I think it was the Rhinoceros Saloon or something like that. We also saw several other businesses with the word rhino in the name.

They are merely celebrating the endangered and rarely seen "Keys Rhinocerous" - they are tiny, like Key Deer, so most tourists never see them.
