Hello,

Does anyone know if the photographer Rhandy Chapman keeps copies of the photo cds. I got married in November 2004 and have just got a puppy who has somehow found our photot cd and chewed it up

Most photographers do keep the masters and give the client the backup files. They do this for reorders of prints, etc. I'm sure Randy had the original safely stored at some point, but I don't know his timeline for this. The photographer for my daughter's wedding guaranteed her images would be available for 5 years, so I'd send an email to Randy and inquire about his policy. Don't worry! And, good luck! ~Ev

Yes he mentioned he keeps a copy as well.
just remember once you get another copy from him. make multiple copies on different media if possible (cds, DVD, memory cards, private websites) and keep it at safer places.
digital media can go bad eventually...
got a bank safe box? store it there too.
