I just read an article that says they may be rolling out the RFID mugs soon. Just curious.....what will the procedure be for those that don't purchase the mug and just get a Coke in a plain old cup?

See the sticky at the top of the page regarding posts on refillable mugs; there have been multiple threads on this that are eventually closed because they belong on the sticky.

If you purchase a soda with your meal you will be given a paper cup with a chip in it. The soda machine will allow 4 refills in one hour and then your cup will be invalid. People using 'a plain old cup' (any other container) will be out of luck and will only be able to get ice and water.
By the way, the article I read yesterday said that it would be implemented within the month. I say it's about time as now you will be able to use your mug at any resort not just where you are staying.

All discussion of the refillable mug program should take place on the Refillable Mug FAQ thread, at the top of this board. You'll find lots of discussion/speculation on the RFID mugs on that thread. :thumbsup2
