Rewards visa through DVC website

Hello!
My husband applied for the disney visa through the DVC website where it was offering a $100 gift card for signing up. We were wondering how the gift card comes through? Is it an actual card mailed or just added to your dream points? How long does it take to come, is it after the first purchase? Thanks for any help!

We recently got my DH a Disney VISA (I already had one) with an offer that came in the mail - can't remember if it was related to DVC or not. But it was the $100 offer and it was just a credit on our bill. I thought it was going to be a gift card, but in our case it wasn't. Of course, your offer might be different - they seem to have so many offers out there.

Signed up to get a visa. Once I used it once, paid the bill, got the gift card a few weeks later in the mail. I didn't do anything else, the gift card was mailed automatically.
