sounds ok to me...unfortunately I rarely have the correct answers, I'm ussually on the pc most evenings.

Sounds ok to me too. The questions are different for me alot of times. And this is a "help" and "tips" board for reward programs. I have seen another board that also posts answers too.

Pat and Brenda (working moms) got the fast forward pass and so got to skip all the inbetween stuff and were first to the Arc de Triomphe checkpoint. They had to raft the Zambezi river rapids to get the pass.

All the rest of the teams had to get pictures of a Rhino, buffalo, and zebra. Or they could have chosen to go to a farther place and just take a pic of an elephant.

They then had to bring them to a Chief at a village, who gave them an Eiffel tower statue.

They had to catch a plane from Johannesburg to Paris. Amie made a joke about not getting to choose a window seat. Once there, one member of each team had to climb to the balcony on the second level of the Eiffel tower and use 10 francs to look thru a telescope and find the yellow/white flag on the Arc de Triomphe.

Lenny didn't know what he was doing and mistakenly led his partner to Notre Dame.

Kim and Leslie ended up in last place and are now out of the race.

Side Note:

I cheered when Kim and Leslie were dropped. Both of them were getting on my nerves.

Hi all,

Thanks Mal for starting this thread. You're just about the most helpful member here and I appreciate a chance to discuss this stuff! :)

I feel like the nagging den mother here as I've already posted my thoughts about this before.... ;) Considering they just raised their redemption cashout levels, I think this is a signal that people were cashing out too quickly. I certainly was amazed I could get a $5 GC in only two days so I knew it wasn't going to last.

But if people are still cashing out too quickly after this recent raise in cashout thresholds, then the redemption rates are going to be raised again.

Secondly, I still stand behind my original feeling that the purpose of the TV and commercial questions are for marketing purposes -- they want to know what kind of impact the commercials make and how well the commercials are doing their job. If people post all the answers, then this isn't helping the researchers very much.

I think this is akin to the Milesource debate - posting the answers to non-Milesource trivia is okay but posting answers to questions where they need you to click on sponsor links is not.

I certainly could be wrong on how RewardTV works! :) What do others think?

I really think that posting the answers is a bad idea. It may help some people for a little while but really you are hurting yourself. More and more people are going to hear about this site and start getting all of the answers correct and then RewardTv is going to raise the point value and who knows how long it will take to get gift certificates then. Besides that once RewardTv gets wind of whats going on they may start accusing people of cheating if they get too many answers correct and then refuse to send gift certificates. Also I'm not sure how it works but if advertising companies are paying RewardTv to test how people remember the commercials and how well they like them then they may stop paying RewardTv when they find out that we are cheating and then RewardTv may have to close down.

first off this is a beta they are bound to raise points
secondly the questions are not the same for everyone so no one gets all the answers right not even me some days I have a good day and some days not.

Then what about VCR's don't you think people record these shows and rerun the commericals and the shows to get the answers.I do...

.As as far as cheating it is not against their rules I read them befor I ever started the thread.I do not cheat on rewards programs I have been doing them a long time and want to continue to do them cheating does not help anyone.

You are intitled to your opinion I just don't happen to agree with it.

If and when RTV changes their TOS then I will stop posting.

Oh and by the way with this logic using the boards for your Netflip and searchcactus words, mypoints Max,etc couldn't that be construed as cheating also.

you can respond I do not bruise easliy.

This is one of those debates that can go around and around. Some of their problems they will have to iron out such as having the same commercial in 3 different shows. Even if you screwed it up the first time by the time you get to it the 3rd time you should have the odds in your favor!!!

You don't have a "maybe" to click on in your choices. I just don't know.

PS-I did look at last nites answers here but I didn't have the same questions (except one or two) for one of the shows.

I don't think the answers should be posted. With reward programs having trouble anyway it might hurt them. I joined RewardTV but if I don't watch the show or know the answers thats too bad for me. I don't tape them and watch them later, (never thought of doing that) Just my opinion. (Don't be too hard on me this is my first post!)

I keep getting the same commericals over and over and got a couple of them down pat

like the Brandy commerical I must have had that one 5 or 6 times already.

Though I would really love to be able to cheat at this rewards program, I wanted to warn you all that by posting answers.....people like me all over the web will learn to come here for the answers and never contribute a thing to your boards. In effect, we will steal RewardTV from ourselves by maxing out our earnings and forcing them to raise the cost of rewards even more. I hate to say these things, because it appears you all have a very nice community here and I know you had a nice thought of helping one another.....perhaps if you just share answers through an email group you would still be able to benefit, and still keep the rest of us honest :D

although we usually welcome new visitors to our site I for one do not extend that welcome to you.It seems to me you only registered here so you could call us cheaters.

We are not cheaters and we are not cheating this program.By posting the answers to RTV questions no where in the TOS is it stated that answers should not or can not be posted. If that had been an issue with RTV they would have included it in their TOS just like say Pinecone has.

Mal:mad:

Well, I for one like Mal posting the answers! I do not believe we are cheating them either...Mal has already said that no where in the rules does it say you cannot post the answers!

Wait a second...I am in no way calling you cheaters....nor am I trying to "personally attack" anyone here. I think this is a lovely site, it's obvious you all care about each other and are just trying to help your friends. Go on posting the answers, that's perfectly fine with me.

I simply wanted to express a concern to you. If you post answers in a public forum, you are inviting the entire internet world to use those answers to their benefit. This in turn will cause RewardTV to either 1)close their doors 2)raise their cash out levels 3)change their rules to allow cancellation of accounts for posting of answers.......just speaking from experience.

I would really hate to see a good program go bad, and I think it would come back to bite you in the butt....but hey, keep posting the answers, I could use the extra GCs.

I don't have a problem with people posting answers. If we can't help each other with some of the questions, then what is the point in posting answers for other reward programs? It is only to help out.

I am not going to get into an argument over whether or not you said this or that.

Though I would really love to be able to cheat at this rewards program

we all know good sarcastism when we read it.

I think there is a big difference between posting SearchCactus and Netflip search words versus the answers to RewardTV questions.

For SearchCactus and Netflip, the whole point is to get us to click on sponsors' links. These programs get paid by the sponsors, the sponsors get clickthroughs on their sites and we get our couple of cents. In other words, everybody wins.

In the RewardTV scenario, we are not clicking on sponsors' links. We are answering direct questions (similar to Pinecone or Vividence). Now, of course, RewardTV has not told us why they have constructed their program -- but since there are no website sponsors to visit, I would have to assume RewardTV is being paid by either the networks, the television shows or the commercial sponsors.

As far as our posting answers is not against RewardTV's TOS, my reply is that Milesource's TOS does not specifically state that we should *not* post the answers to the trivia questions at Moviefone, yet we've all agreed that we should not post those answers as it was obvious that Milesource needed us to click on the different links for them to get paid by Moviefone.

Ultimately, I think at this point we should agree to disagree. This is a really nice family of rewards posters and I hate to see any division regarding a particular rewards program. Can we call a truce here?? :)

Sheila

as I stated earlier I am not upset by your opinion I was quiet upset with being called a cheater by cmiari.I agree that we agree to disagree.
