I have a rather spirited (meant in the most loving, way
) 6yo. We've done small reward charts with him before where the payoff has been a small prize (little game, etc). I'm thinking about doing something similar to that, but thinking up various rewards, mostly time spent with a parent. Can be either going somewhere, having friends over or a small prize, but I don't want it to be too materialistic. I'm looking for some ideas of things to do with him that he can choose between.
I've thought of:
A day with one of his parents to Washington DC or Baltimore to go to a museum, science center, or aquarium
A day at one of our local pools (not the community pool, but the nice one with a water slide, etc)
A day at a local park with a picnic lunch--can invite a friend
A morning a a nearby lake to rent a rowboat
A game night
A trip to Jimmy Cone for an ice cream cone
Movie at a movie theater
Rent a movie from the video store and invite a friend to watch it
What other ideas can you think of? Thanks!

I don't even know if he remembers going there, it's been so long.
