Reward dollars and DVC

I was wondering if you can use Disney Reward Dollars to pay towards annual maintenance fees and/or monthly payments on the initial purchase price?

Also, is the financing offered through DVC at competitive/good interest rates?

Hi SCH and welcome to the DIS!

DVC does not accept Disney Reward Dollars for the payments or maintenance fees. You can use the Disney Visa to pay your down payment, however.

I financed my DVC many years ago and found the rates then to be very good. They do not report to the credit bureaus and the process was very easy to apply.

I paid my maintainence fee with my reward points last year, as a matterof fact, Ididn't have enough, so I paid the rest with my disney visa. It was not a problem, no questions asked. NANCY

Oh sorry I was thinking of gift cards, lol. The Rewards Card can be combined with a credit card if you are paying your dues for the full year up front. They won't accept credit card/Rewards card for monthly payments on dues, however.

It has been many years since my DVC loan, but they used to not accept credit cards for monthly loan payments either. I know they will take cc for the down payment, however.
