Revolut

I have just obtained a Revolut card to try to avoid some nasty bank transactions/exchange fees. Do people pre load the card with the anticipated spend before they travel or do you put enough credit on the card to cover the WDW hotel hold and then top up? Did anywhere/everywhere at WDW and UOR accept the physical and virtual card?

Not sure how the Revolut card works, if it is the same as the pre paid Mastercard (Fairfx) I use then I load it with how much I think I may need and if I need to top up during the trip I do if from my current account with no charges.
Be aware that US ATMs will charge a fee for withdrawals for all cards, but, this is for everyone, local or tourist, as free ATM withdrawals are uncommon in the US.
If this is similar to the pre paid credit cards then don't add it to your resort booking as you may find it hard to use the card elsewhere as they put a hold on it no matter how much you top up (I think)
What I do is add a credit card to my resort booking for charging, but, pay off the balance using my pre paid card when the balance gets to a certain amount, something you can check with the MDE app. No hold on the card and no charges.
