Revised Touring Plans w/FP Return Time Enforcement?

I don't want to get into the debate about the 'new' enforcement of FP return time. It has been a few years since I have been to WDW, but in the past (and during our DL visits) our standard strategy has been to grab FP in the morning and use them in the afternoon when park crowds are heaviest. Clearly this is no longer an option.

Given that this strategy is clearly no longer valid, does anyone know of revised touring plans that take the return time enforcement into account?
