Well I had to change my plans thanks to DH and his 2 cents! :rotfl2: So tell me the good and the bad and of course the UGLY!

We have never done TS lunches before, thought it would be a nice break in the day before we leave the parks for time at the pool. The days we do not have TS breakfast or dinner we figure we can snack at the F&W or eat our fav CS meals.

When we went this past Oct we cancelled alot of our TS dinners because we were having too much fun eating the F&W stands. When we went this past March/April it was way too much for us with a TS breakfast and dinner in the same day...we are such oinkers! Plus we are staying AKL concierge for the first 4 nights so we want to take advantage of the foods and snacks they put out.

Oct 18th - arrival day, lunch at WPE (we always go there on arrival day)

Oct 18th - dinner at Boma (never been)

Oct 19th - breakfast with the Sunrise Safari (never been)

Oct 19th - my b-day so dinner at Jiko (never been)

Oct 20th - breakfast at the AKL concierge (never been)

Oct 20th - lunch at Sci Fi (never been)

Oct 21st - breakfast at the AKL concierge

Oct 21st - lunch at San Angel Inn (never been)

Oct 22nd - breakfast at the AKL concierge

Oct 22nd - dinner at WPC (never been)

Oct 23rd - breakfast at Main Street Bakery

Oct 23rd - lunch at The Plaza (have not been in over 12 years)

Oct 24th - breakfast at Kona

Oct 24th - dinner at Cape May Clambake

Oct 25th - stuck on CS breakfast, maybe something at the BW bakery or HS?

Oct 25th - dinner at Il Mulino

Oct 26th - departure day breakfast at Boma

Love lunch at Sci-Fi - it's a nice break from the mid-day heat, decent food, cool atmosphere.

I've never had lunch at San Angel Inn, but I have had dinner - the food is pretty good (I know other people don't like it, but I think it's fine), very cool atmosphere, the market place is fun, the ride is good (I think they've redone it since I've been there though.. I can't imagine that they changed very much).

As for the rest, I can't say... never been!

These are the 2 ressies I am most worried about, DH picked them! Thanks for your positive thoughts!

Would skip sci-fi and also san angel. Not huge fans of either!! Although you should definitely try the churros there as a dessert, delicious!

Sci-fi, I just don't think the food is all that great! You've got Mama Melrose's and Brown Derby at DHS if you wanted to eat in the park.

I'd trade San Angel for about anything else. I really like Mexican food, and thought it was very, very average. (and very, VERY dark) The atmosphere is interesting, though. There are so many other good places to try in Epcot that I would definitely pass on this one.

We have eaten at Mama Melrose and did not think it was good at all...thought maybe burgers and shakes from Sci Fi might be a good way to go...

We have not tried Rose and Crown, Marrekesh and San Angel Inn...all the others we have eaten at already. Are the other 2 any better?

I haven't tried Rose & Crown or Marrakesh, either, although I did consider Marrakesh for our upcoming trip. One in Epcot that I'm looking forward to is Teppan Edo for lunch, which I was told was like a fancier Benihana. Oh, also Le Cellier for lunch. I'll be coming into Disney the day you leave, and I had no problems making my reservations last week. :)

You all might love San Angel, I am sure there are plenty that do. It just wasn't for us.
