Ok, i've revised my dining plans...hope i can talk my 10 yr old into ordering kids meals at the signature places...i'd rather pay 15.00 for him to eat with dessert than spend 2 TS on his meals.

Saturday 9/30 (we will be at Epcot)
Corral Reef @ 6:10 (my sons choice not so much mine lol)

Sunday (MGM)
Fantasmic package Brown Derby 4:40 (son has to buy off kids menu oop)

Monday (Epcot)
Le Cellier 6:50 (will this interfere with the show???)

Tuesday (day off...swim and stuff)
DTD-lunch WGP express
Dinner- O'hana 6:30

Weds (all day MK)
Dinner at Crystal Palace 5:10

Thursday (morning off, MNSSHP that night)
Breakfast OOP at Boatwrights(for stuffed banana french toast) or the CS at POR
Late lunch WGP's express at DTD at 3:30pm
(we plan on having 2 snacks each to spend on a late night snack at MK that night)

Friday (am is open to either MK or Epcot as family wishes, evening off)
California grill at 7:30 (wishes wont happen that night but i think we can still enjoy the fireworks from MNSSHP at the MK right??)-DS childs meal OOP.

Sat (all day animal kingdom)
Dinner at Boma at 5:30

I've done a lot of searching and i hope i picked the best of the best for the time frame that we will be there. I had originally picked Kona, Spoodles and Sci Fi, but replaced them.

I haven't been a fan of the Wolfgang Puck restaurants. Two suggestions would be Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club (no adrs accepted) and Spoodles at the Boardwalk Inn. Boatwrights is awesome for breakfast, we did it this May. If you have time after Boatwrights, head to the French Quarter's Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory for delicious beignats.

wow thats kind of a bummer :( I had heard glowing reviews of WGP EXPRESS (the counter service) at DTD. I heard it was the best CS in all of WDW. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to beaches and cream, but would be an out of pocket deal, and not worth it for us to take that long trek there just to pay for burgers...would probably end up being a 3 hour + jaunt.

Ok, so i have a few table service meals to kill, and i figure since i can boat it over to DTD and skip the bus, then where do you recommend to our off day lunches? I had Spoodles but they very recently demolished most of what i found most appealing on the menu, so i that is when we upgraded to Cali Grill. In order for me to place spoodles back on we would need to take Cali grill off for spoodles ...i'm not sure that is an even trade...

anyone ever think that figuring where to eat would be so much freaking work!!!

Personally I think you did the right thing in skipping Sci-Fi . . . it's definitely about the atmosphere, not the food. However, it's worth at least seeing, you might think about sticking your head in there around 3:30 one day and sitting in the AC and having one of their milkshakes. Those admittedly are incredible. :) The only ones you have on your list that I've eaten at are Coral Reef, which I love, and Crystal Palace, same thing.

I am lol because the 3 you took off your list are 3 of our favorites!(spoodles not so much anymore just because of our family size- 4 children) Kona is by far our favorite restaurant in WDW. And the Sci Fi is their first pick everytime for what restaurant do you want to go to? But the other ones on your list are good also-(we have tried them all except Boatwrights and Boma)

Seriously, my hubby (who i lovingly refer to as tubby :) ) was afraid he might not fit in the car table seats as they are very narrow, and he well, isnt too narrow. He felt like the disappointment of sitting at a table would be more hassel than worth it. If we have down time we are going to eat dessert there (possible by appetizer of onion rings and shakes) after a quick shared snack at a CS since our dinner at BD is so early.

Kona, well, i cant fit everything in and this is where i really wanted to go, but everyone says my family as a whole will enjoy Ohana better. Coral reef isnt my fave idea, but its my sons pick. Spoodles, i may just regret. Do they still let you add on shrimp and scallops???? this might change...but it would have to replace California grill!

I could change Brown Derby for Mama Melrose and do lunch at Kona before MNSSHP and leave from the Poly to go to MK OR i could go to spoodles for lunch and go to MK from there. What are the hours for spoodles, and do they have dinner menu at lunch??

Would that be better???
