We have annual passes so we go often to Disneland -

Taste Pilot is the best burgers- they have a toppings bar where you can put whatever you want on them.

Red Rockets - I'll agree on the chicken fussilli YUM - we usually get one pasta and one salad (Ceasar is pretty good) and share that between my husband and myself. If you are not real hungary, I have even just gotten the kids pasta meal - plenty for me (left room for ice cream later). I do this often at all the buffeterias and counter serve places.

We also like Carnation on Main Street. Good food, and good people watching.

RE: Corn Dogs - if you want one in Disneyland (as opposed to DCA) there a cart just off the hub, near the Photo Store, that also sells them These are the best corn dogs I have ever had (albeit greasy) and I have eaten my fair share at Muscle Beach.

Blue Bayou - the atmosphere is wonderful. We generally go for lunch because we do enjoy the Monte Cristos. Dinner features prime rib and other heavier fair.

We have never eaten at ESPN - not big sports fans - I heard their $7.00 burgers are pretty good - but if I want burgers I'll do Taste Pilot with my passholder discount.

We looked at Ariel's Grotto last time (ended up at Storyteller's). It is a fixed price character meal . Looked pretty good - but since we had just returned from WDW where did a couple of Character meals we decided to do it another time.

The Fortune Cookie is rarely open, but the Boudine bakery has pretty good soup in sourdough bowls. I think the Mexincan is ok, but over priced. We have better Mexicna food outside of the park, so we generally do not eat there.

I did not like the burger at Taste Pilots, it reminded me of a prepackage meat burger (yuck) I tossed it out after a few bites. But I'm a fresh ground beef burger type of person. I like to make them myself, rather than eat one out.

Check out white water snacks. It is the pool cafe at Grand Californian and is wonderful. They serve some fresh from the grill items as well as prepackaged sandwiches and salads. Inexpensive and good.

I had the blackened Ceasar salad at BB and LOVED it. There was lots of good chicken and crisp lettuce. My husband didn't like the fact that the chicken was cold, he wanted warm chicken. I have heard the Pork is terrific there also.

Plaza Inn is where we get Fried Chicken. And the Pizza Port place in Tomorrowland has great salads and chicken Fuzzil pasta was a fav of my 4 year old. Most of the salads are made fresh before your eyes. The portions are large and can easy be shared. This place has my favorite Oriental Chicken Salad. I crave it. I wish I was local so I could get one anytime I wanted, but I do make sure to eat one EVERYTIME I go to Disneyland.

My kids kinda snack all day, so I make sure to take a tuperware container that I can keep their leftovers. My 2 year old will only eat PB&J at Disneyland while riding in the stroller. She hates to take a break from the excitement. So I have one of those sandwich keepers from tupperware that I would pack her sandwich in, then use it for my 4 year olds leftovers for her '2nd lunch' each day. This worked well for us. I don't know if you are traveling with kids, but be warned even the kids meals are large. The Plaza Inn kids meal filled me up a few times during our last trip. And in my opinion, the chicken leg kids meal is the most nutritious. It came with chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, applesauce, roll and drink for 4.95 or 5.95 where the pasta kids meal was just pasta, roll and drink for the same price.

At DL:

Great quick service italian at Redd Rocket's Pizza Port. We always share a salad as they are huge. Pizza is expensive, like 5 a slice, but also very large.

I agree The Little Red Wagon has great Corn Dogs that are hand-dipped with homemade batter(I know because I used to manage that location).

Blue Bayou is great for atmosphere, but to me has never really stacked up to any sit down restaurant at WDW.

El Zocalo in Frontierland has both Mexican and BBQ. The Mexican is avg and the BBQ pretty good.

DCA:

Corn Dog Castle has great big doggies. They have a hot link Corn Dog that is to die for.......

Other than that the best restaurants are at DTD and the hotels

Storyteller's--very good
Granville's--we just ate there last week. Great food, great service.
PCH Grill--it's been a few years since we've eaten there, but from what I remember it was tasty.

DTD has Naples for very good italian and yes, ESPN has the best burgers....
