Reviews of Japanese Resturants at Epcot?

Hi,

I am currently planning our third trip back to Disney and I am curious if anyone has any information good or bad about the Japanese restaurants at Epcot please ? The only review I can find on the net was posted in 2004 !!!

We just went to Tappen Edo in August 2007 on the last day of our stay. We had such a great experience there. They were very accomodating with my DD16 allergies and were very friendly. Our chef went out of his way to help with her allergies and we can't thank him enough for that. He was also conversational with the table. The downside is that each table is a table of 8 so you have to sit with other families if you have a small party. We didn't find it to be a problem, but others do. HTH!!

I've eaten at Teppan Edo twice and Tokyo dining once. Tokyo Dining has a very vast sushi menu as well as other cooked options. I love Teppan Edo for the atmosphere, they prepare the food in front of you at a table for 8. Plus the food was really, really good! In my opinion both are great choices depending on what you're looking for!

Another big thumbs up for Tappen Edo. My family and I have dinned there on every trip to disney. The food is always fresh and tasty. I would consider it the best restaurant in WS.

We've eaten at Tokyo Dining twice, and enjoyed both visits. DD and I have had the edamame, sushi and the tempura, all very good - I think we had several pieces of tuna nigiri, and a couple rolls. A friend had the chicken cutlet, she thought it was good, too.

We ate at tokyo dining the last time, and it was one of the better meals we had on the trip. It was a nice change to have something light and fresh. The service was wonderful, and they were great with our kids as well.

If your talking about Teppen Edo. It is great. Good food & fun.
A must do every trip.
