Reviews - DME an Econopark Express at BWI airport

DME was great! We flew in Friday morning on SW, no checked bags, went to the DME desk and just had one person in front of us. Gave then our vouchers, were sent to the line for POFQ and the the bus boarded right after. We were the first stop, sorry I can't remember what other resorts were on the route that day. It took exactly one hour from the time our plane landed to the time we arrived at POFQ! We were equally happy with the return trip. The bus was on time, we stopped at OKW and SSR before going to the airport. We had plenty of time to get something to eat without it being too long.


We left our car at BWI with Econopark Express parking. They're a new lot, just opened in June and they had great rates so we thought we'd try them out. It's a little off the beaten path, but we had no trouble finding it, using the Mapquest directions from the website. We were able to park close to the gate and the person at the booth had a shuttle follow us to our spot and picked you up right at the car. The driver offered us bottled water. It was just over 5 min. ride to the airport from the lot. We were told on the return trip just to look for the shuttles, as they make the rounds frequently. As soon as we exited the baggage claim area and walked outside, there was a shuttle! The driver took us directly to our car, perfect in the rain! We were assisted with our luggage both times (and we did tip!) From early Friday morning until Tuesday afternoon it only cost us $28 to park! Make sure you print out the coupon for $1 off per day.

I also heard EE park was very good I have been using Airport Fastpark for about 3 or4 years and have never had a problem with my Jeep they are all very secure .

We had a great time in spite of Wilma! Yes, the car was just as we left it. I highly recommend EE!

We used Econopark at the end of August and thought it was a really good deal. Actually we just got their frequent parking card and I ordered a prepaid card as well. Their rates have gone up a little ($5.75/day WITH the coupon, $6.75 without) but at this point it's still worth it. We arrived very early for our departure and the shuttle followed us to our parking place. On the way back we waited for about 10 minutes so we may have just missed one of their shuttles. Admittedly we were getting a little concerned and called them to let them know we were waiting along with another family from our flight. Friendly drivers, nice lot and great rates.
If the rates increase again than I may go back to the long-term parking just because it is a little quicker for us and the car is covered. Hope this helps!

We just got back from WDW on Oct 30 and also used econoparkexpress. No problems, shuttle was behind the car before we got the doors open, lugged the luggage on board for us. Offered water(nice touch) and just a few minutes to the airport. Gave us a ticket with the number of our parking space on it, told us were to go and just 'wave the ticket at the bus'. Got back, waiting less then 5 minute and a shuttle appeared. Quick return to the lot, dropped right behind the car. No problems at all, car was good. Believe it was ~46 for 7 nights. Cheaper then longterm parking, and was the cheapest of the off airport lots I saw. Glad to see, they had one w/c accessible shuttle with lift. Nice drivers, good service, would use them again no problem.
