Review on new Mary Jane Crocs!

Well, I went back and ended up getting my second pair in dark green instead of pink, because the pink just looked too orangey. I didn't try them on, and just got them in the same size as before. After all, it was the same brand, style, and store, right? ;) They were too tight, and I had to go return them for one size up. Moral of the this story: even if you're buying a second pair from the same place, try 'em on! When I returned, they mentioned that the different MJ colors *do* fit differently, size-wise.

The Mary Janes are adorable...I am in the process of breaking in my first pair of Crocs...I ordered the Professional...I think they look a bit clunky with shorts but I think I would love them with Jeans...

Thanks...the ballet slippers are also cute.

Mine foot does not fall out of them, I did buy them a size smaller than all my other crocs. The top strap on my Mary Janes seems to be tighter and "more stretchy". Love em!

These DISboards are sooooo bad for me.....I went to Journey today after reading all the raves about crocs and tried on a beach style and the MJ style. They were both soooooo comfortable!!! I got black and dark brown MJ style and after leaving...I got home and ordered kahki beach style. I seriously think these are my new fav shoes. If any of you are looking for dressy sandals, Clarks sandals are the most comfortable shoes in the world.

OH, I have to second the vote on the Clark's sandles. I have had my black Clark sandles for two years now and they are worth the money. I had buyers remorse after spending so much money on them but they really are comfortable shoes for a LONG day! Never have given me blisters.

Aw man! Those crocs people just keep inventing cool must-have stuff, darn it. ;)

I had Athens but returned them when I found the Scutes locally ... but I am leery of the open toe so the MJs would be perfect. My family together owns about 10 pairs of Crocs. DH is gonna throw a fit that I need another pair, LOL.

I must be clueless...but why do people wear these? I always thought they were just gardening shoes. Please fill me in!

Save your pennies! REMEMBER they are coming out with DISNEY CROCS this fall!!!!

NIWOT, Colo. Crocs Inc., the Colorado based footwear company, will soon debut its limited edition of "Disney by Crocs."

The new line will feature some of Disney's most popular characters including Mickey and Friends, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Disney Princess, Disney Fairies, as well as Pirates of the Caribbean and Disney Pixar's Toy Story and Cars.

They will be available at select locations before the start of the holiday season.

"Disney characters symbolize fun and magic, and we think they are a particularly good fit with the Crocs brand," said Ron Snyder, CEO of Crocs, in a released statement.

An expanded line will launch next spring.

Because they are SO comfortable!!! Never had a more comfortable (albeit ugly) shoe in my life!

Where'd you get the picture?!?!?! YAY!!!!! I *am* and *have been* holding out for these babies! WOO! :yay: :hyper:

I hightailed it over to our local Journeys store tonight to try the MJs. Unfortunately, they only had two size 10s ... one pair was too small - the big toe on my right foot hit the top of the shoe - which is strange because I am a really regular size 10 99% of the time and my other size 10 crocs are a bit on the loose side. The other pair fit perfectly but one of the shoes had a major flaw - a rip in the edge at the top of the shoe.

I am willing to mail order but I am worried that the fit of the first is more standard and they will be too small. So, can you tell me if you found the fit of the MJs to be smaller than usual crocs? I know that they are sleeker and more streamlined, how about the actual fit - do they run small? Thanks!

I have a pair I have worn about 3 times that I wanna sell. they are not as comfy to me as the bech ones.....

I have a problem... my size 9 MJ crocs are a little to big....is there anyway to make them just a tad smaller (the band across the back of my heel is too big). I have a size 8 MJ in brown (salesperson got the wrong size and I didn't check) and they are a bit small....but I have been reading about putting them in the dryer to make them bigger...but I don't want to do that and then it doesn't work and I can't return them after. Anyone have any suggestions???

I tried the Mary Janes on at Journeys yesterday. My regular shoe size is 7 but I wear an 8 in Caymans. I tried on the 8 in the Mary Janes. They are definitely much narrower than Beach or Cayman and my toes came closer to the front of the shoe. They were very cute and comfy, but I'm afraid there would be much more rubbing than with the other styles. I didn't buy them. I'm waiting for others to test them out before I commit!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my MJ Croccies  I have worn them EVERY day since school started (Aug. 14th) and I have felt like I was walking on air. The only thing I've noticed is that I have to "polish" them (armoral wipes!!!) more often (they're black) than I do my other crocs. I teach kids w/ special needs and have several students who are "runners"... they (the MJ crocs) are great for running down the hall (even newly-polished halls). The only problem I have is tripping over my own feet... however, that's probably just me, not the crocs! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Edited to add- the Crocs webpage has MaryJanes now, in more colors than what Journeys carries... as well as more sizes!

Could anyone post pictures of the MJ crocs on your feet? Looking down at them and looking at you...

I want to wait for the Disney Crocs b/f buying another pair, but the MJ's are tempting me!

Any word on Disney Jibbitz?

I'm still looking for opinions......please? :)

MissKris721, have you seen the alternate straps that you can buy separately? Maybe they would be tighter with that strap?? Just a thought... You can even have a different color, if you wanted.

I don't know about putting them in the dryer, but I HAVE put my daughter's in the dishwasher and they came out great! LOL

Good luck!

I tried on the MJ at journeys today. YUCK. They were no where near as comfortable (soft) as the Caymans I have. The one pair of Prima they had left were too small, but I could squeeze into them enough to tell I wouldn't like them for every day wear. They would still be better than regular shoes, but no where near as soft as the standard Croc. Also, for wide feet, neither pair was a good fit (granted I can't judge the Prima fairly since they were a size too small).
