Review on Artist Point

Service was very slow 45 min from the time we ate dessert til bill arrived. My family was tired of waiting and left me. Another 20 min for receipt to come back. Restaurant was empty. Only 1/4 people enjoyed their dinner. We had better counter service food. This is not worth 2 credits in my opinion. Why is this place soooo slow? This is a don't do again for our family.

Can you elaborate a little? What did you order and why wasnt it good?

The first time I tried AP I wasn't impressed either. The service was slow and the food was mediocre. Fortunately, I gave it a second chance and it was a totally different experience. I will say the server had a lot to do with it. I think his name was Izzy and he was just great. His recommendations hit the mark and AP was redeemed.

It still isn't one of my top 5 signature choices but it's no longer at the bottom of the list!

I learned on these boards one if the best ways to get the server's attention for the check, is to stand up like you are about to leave. If waiting for your receipt, stand in front of the table with your arms crossed and keep looking at your watch. Twenty minutes just to get your receipt and the restaurant is only 1/4 full? No thanks.

The orders were scallops, chicken and buffalo. We are from NE, in our opinion the scallops tasted funny. They were not washed throughly had sand in food. I could not get DH, DS or DD to eat the chicken. Everyone tried a small piece. Buffalo was the only item that was finished. We did the entire trip mostly on signature meals including Artist Point, Narcoossee, Brown Derby, Yachtman Steakhouse. Some were good, some ok but this just was not in the same catagory as the other 2 credit meals. One credit ok but not two. The service is too slow. We had better attention from Via Napoli and we let them know it. They were happy to hear that we thought the service was better than the "best". We are not a family that goes out to eat often and my expectations are fairly low. All I want is a drink, food and my bill. I don't want to sit for over 3 hours to eat. None of the others took that long. Narcoossee was less time and we left to watch the fireworks and water parade.
