Our recent trip to WDW, we needed to rent a couple beds for kids. We looked for companies that rented twin size roll away beds and came up with No Hassle Vacations from Orlando. We rented a twin roll away bed, and a toddler bed. Where to start with this terrible company!!
The booking was pretty easy. The cost was $45 for the roll away and $70 for the toddler bed for 5 nights. Price was average. They emailed me after the order and stated I needed to contact the resort so they would accept the bed. I did this at the 10 day out timeframe and all was fine.
When I reserved the beds, I "thought" they would come with linens. It doesn't say they do online (I didn't notice this until too late), but it doesn't say they don't either. I was really surprised. We ended up using Disney linens and made it work. They also asked if the toddler bed was for a female or male. I thought that meant we would get a bed that was "girly" for our DD. NOPE! I was just a boring red/blue/yellow bed. Fine with us, but WHY ASK?!
We recieved the beds by a decent time, around 3pm on Saturday checkin. The toddler mattress was in good shape and covered. The toddler bed was extremely beat up, missing footings and coming apart in places. We just pushed it back together, but if I were this company I would be ashamed to rent it.
As for the roll away bed, this was the worst experience! The bed sqeaked terribly, the springs poked up when you laid on it and the mattress was a joke. It was so flat and useless, when you laid down it you would sink right into it and the sides would surround you. This happened for adults and young kids, so size didn't matter. We found out when asking bell services about the delivery, that AKL has their own roll away beds!! We called before and were told they don't, but they do, so don't believe everyone. Once we knew that and saw the condition of the rental, we immediately called the front desk and asked for a Disney bed to borrow. I then called the rental company and told them it was unusable and to pick it up immediately.
When Disney picked up the rental roll away, something happened internally and it was "lost". It has been over a week and still not found. I am now being charged by the rental company for the bed replacement cost, which Disney is going to cover (thank goodness). However, that bed should be decommissioned it is so terrible. And I feel for anyone that is or has to sleep in it!
Final answer... DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! The owner Simon has been nasty to me from the start of the issue, and the items are in terrible condition! If there were any other companies that rented what we needed, I would have looked into them too as this company didn't have many reviews. I hope this helps someone else who is looking for more information on them.
