Review of First Trip Home

Just in case anyone wants to know how our first trip home went...IT WAS GREAT!!!

We stayed at OKW Room 2722. A great 2 bedroom with a nice view of the golf course and really close to the Pensular bus stop.

Only three problems, one major two minor.

Minor problems-The front desk staff was not very cheery on Sat during check in. They were better when checking out on Wed.

The towl bar in the guest Bathrooom was hanging by a screw. A quick call to the front desk got it fixed.

The Major Problem- it rained very hard on Monday, and the floor by the window in the guest bedroom was soaking wet. I am not sure if they fixed the problem, but they did come and try and get the water off the floor.

Other than the everything was grea- we loved the boat ride to Downtown Disney. THe longest wait we had the whole trip was for a bus ride home from MVMCP on the 8th.

Already planning our next trip home!!!

Oh boy!!! This makes it even harder to wait for the next 10 days to pass before we're "home."

That's something about the window. It's reassuring to know that they sent someone to correct the problems.

The roof drains go right by the bedroom windows on the inner units at OKW. I bet it was clogged and water found it's way home.

We used to describe the dripping water down the drain pipes as "theban pebble torture". As the morning dew rolled off the roof and dripped down the drain pipes, it would hit the elbow between the second and third floor levels with a rhythmic "tink, tink, tink" every morning.
